There's a lesson to be learned here about tactics and attitudes and how to become more offensive with BLM and ANTIFA.

They only have the upper hand because they approach on offense.

Ghatak Platoon, or Ghatak Commandos, is a reconnaissance platoon that is present in every infantry battalion in the Indian Army.

Ghatak is a hindi word meaning "killer" or "lethal". The Ghatak commandoes are experts in close-quarter battle and spearhead assaults ahead of the battallion.

Ghatak are specialized elite infantry platoons within Indian Army units. Their primary role and purpose is to be heavily armed spearheads or shock troopers in case of a conflict.

They are composed of the most physically fit and motivated soldiers in an infantry battalion. With their main role as the shock troopers within the battalion they are trained to flank around their enemy and attack them from the rear without needing any support from the rest of the battalion.

They are first unit to attack in any war.

They can undertake direct raids on enemy artillery positions, air fields, supply dumps and headquarters and can also direct artillery and air attacks while behind the enemy lines.

My favorite movie of all time. I can't tell you how many times I've watched and re-watched it. Years ago, I was watching it, and had to leave the room and hit the pause button. It was the scene where Dravott and Carnahan are in Kipling's office declaring their intent to range north and swearing off alcohol and women until they had become kings.

When Carnahan reads the contract they want Kipling to witness, he holds the document high and loudly proclaims in his best Cockney accent, "This contrak between me and you..."

I had hit the pause button at the point where the contract had been laid on the table, and returned to continue watching it when I noticed you could clearly read the text on the document..which had been written as sounded, "This Contrak..."

I thought it was a scrupulous little detail on the part of the film makers.

I would not mess with those troops along the China/India border. Those guys are stationed in some of the most inhospitable, savage country in the world, extreme cold, high altitudes, the whole bit. You can guess that the ones on both sides, but especially the Indians, are really tough.

From what I have gathered reading different articles, Colonel Babu went to parlay with the Chinese troops and asked them to move from a makeshift post they had set up on the Indian side of the LAC, that they were supposed to vacate per an earlier agreement. The following argument got heated,and apparently the Chinese troops were prepared for an actual fight. They had nail studded clubs and sticks wrapped in barbed wire. They had also called in reinforcements of additional soldiers.

I imagine that the Indian CO was viciously beaten to death. The Indians counter attacked when they saw their CO killed. They went crazy on the Chinese, even though they were outnumbered.
