The communist effort continues
aint it great when an idea comes together...
“y’all come”
“Right you are”
“Oh you look like you are fitting in nicely”
“Yeah we get to do just what we used to do at home. Y’all are right neighborly. Thanks for having us. We just wanted to show our deep appreciation”
“How sweet”
The situation escalated after a 17-year-old was questioned for an alleged drug offence... A group of between 100 and 200 people responded by throwing stones and bottles at the police on the central Schlossplatz... grew, he said, to between 400 and 500 people attacking police. Many of the rioters were said to be hooded and masked.
IOW, no, it wasn't related to a single random routine bust.
The local reports my wife translated indicated that they are calling in Police for all over Baden-Wurttemburg. The police here have no compunction about busting heads when required and Germans have a higher tolerance for violent police action than Americans. They care about whether an action does or does not comply with a rule, not if it was or was not appropriate.
Nah that was back when Russell Crowe tangled with them...
“I wonder if CNN and the rest of the Lame Street Media will call this mostly peaceful protest?”
Nope, it’s going to be the “summer of love” doncha know!
Nope. The leftist movement in Germany is NOT new.

Good. It would be nice to see the restoration of law, order and safety for citizens restored somewhere in the western world.
Nope, its going to be the summer of love doncha know!

“Street Festivals” are breaking out everywhere.
Some commenters are alleging that these are Muslim I.e. Arab or Turkish rioters. From what I have seen, it seems more likely that these are German leftists or Antifa types who overlap with the drug culture here.
Agreed; a quick search of the German news sites would indicate that these rioters appear to be white.
Some people did something.
I visited in 1986. The Polizei were not to be messed with. A friend was stopped for riding his gas-powered scooter in a foosgangerzone. For those who dont know what that means, it is a pedestrian-only area.
He had permission for riding the scooter in that area because he was going to/coming from the designated parking area for the businesses in that area. He was let go with no ticket, but it took 15 minutes for them to believe him that he was allowed to park in that area, and thus also legally able to drive through the pedestrian zone to access the parking area.
What cops say....they arrested one single kid around midnight at some ‘event-party’ at the Palace Gardens (mid-town)...drug charge (didn’t say if he was a dealer). And 300 of his friends went after the cops. Mass destruction took place downtown....maybe ten places completely looted and forty with broken windows. Nineteen police injured....24 kids arrested (half of them are German, other half are non-German). Appears to be a lot of alcohol/drug use going on and teens out of control.
Nothing connected to crime gangs, or Antifa.
Talk this afternoon that a special hearing in the Baden-Wurttemberg government will occur this week, and discuss youth-crime (escalating).
From German prospective....lot saying this was worst riot in Stuttgart since 1930s.
I’d expect this to linger as a chat topic for at least two weeks.
RE: quick search of the German news sites would indicate that these rioters appear to be white.
If you look at our rioters here in the USA, you will see that a lot of them are also WHITE.
Looking at the German news sites and the video on www.youtube.de, I haven't seen any rioter who isn't white.
Watch these video of rioters

Some people did something.
Germany invited many thousands of guest workers after WWII. From Turkey. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastarbeiter
I encountered them decades ago on a trip to Germany. Nasty thugs even then.
