Friday on MSNBC, network political commentator former Rep. Donna Edwards (D- MD) accused President Donald Trump of choosing Tulsa, OK for his rally on Saturday to spread chaos among black Americans to please his hardcore white supremacist base.
Host Joy Reid said, It is a weird thing. The candidate creates the vibe that they want. They create what they want reflected back to them in the audience. Donald Trump seems to luxuriate in creating atmospheres of violence. Thats what he enjoys at his rallies. As somebody who has been an elected official in the South, people leave Maryland out of the South, but its the upper South, what kind of message do you think is being sent to black Americans by Donald Trump holding this rally a day after Juneteenth, so close to the Greenwood section in Tulsa? What do you think hes intending to say to us?

Well maybe if she stopped inviting her black supremacist base and stopped being a hateful racist we could actually succeed in working together?
Naaah.
One of these days, somebody ought to make a line of some sort, that separates Maryland from the north.
She really believes Trump and his staffers researched the Tulsa attack in 1921 and deliberately chose it to appeal to white supremacists. The community of Greenwood 1921 is exactly what Trump sees for Black Americans a prosperous, self reliant community of families, businesses and pride. Booker T Washington’s dream. The kind of Black community the BLM people fear and hate.
She’s just mad the White MD Demonrats didn’t give her the Senate nomination back in 2016 for Mikulski’s seat.
I have read the history. The original Juneteenth was the day Union troops went into Texas to inform the former slaves that they had been freed. For the Democrats to hold this as a sacred holiday is ludicrous.
She probably didn’t even know what Tulsa was until she saw Watchmen on HBO last fall.
That’s where a LOT of this juneteenth hysteria is coming from.
But white supremacists are statists who oppose individual liberty.
You can’t get more anti-Trump than that!
You’d think if they really believe what they say, they would be able to give at least a couple of f’rinstances. But you could find some glaring examples in this story of where they are stirring up racial hatred.
It’s going to be a crazy night in Tulsa!
Dim Debbie, there will only be very few people there, you know like Biden’s overflowing audiences.
Donna Dingbat, I meant—
Funny how Pam doesn’t mention the date is more than just close to Juneteenth it is also the date a bunch of white [Democrats, by and large] in Tulsa rioted when their lynch mob, seeking to deny an accused teenager his due process, confronted Tulsa police, and when a number of armed black men including a number of WW1 veterans showed up to assist in defending the court house, the white mob rioted for some 18 hrs, destroying the mostly black neighborhood of Greenwood. By some estimates the white mob massacred up to 300 blacks and at least 10 whites, leaving a huge number of people with burned out homes. At the time the victims would have been mostly Republican.
There is some small hope. I was walking through a large Park with many many black people in it in Brooklyn partly because I’m insane and mainly because I’m dating a Puerto Rican woman from the projects.
I saw one of those silly BLM marches go by
I can’t say what they all were thinking but I’m sure a number of them were thinking let’s get this white guy but at least they didn’t.
And yes her and I have discussed the situation. Well you really don’t discuss with a Puerto Rican girl. You just hope to survive the argument :-)
it’s usually the minority that want violence. But that minoriy might be 10 or 20 million people. That’s a lot.
Again, Whatever else he/she/it wants to do. Just don't go to church!
***lynch mob, seeking to deny an accused teenager his due process,***
A few months before this, a Tulsa lynch mob hanged a WHITE TEEN AGE BOY accused of murder.
Call the survey ompany Mason & Dixon. Maybe they can help
Okay maybe this sounds dumb but I don’t know what a Karen is they keep using that name Karen I missed what it’s connected to or refers to
Supposedly a whining female is now a “karen”. Or something. Anyone else? Bueller?
