The Nova Scotia shooter case has hallmarks of an undercover operation

The withdrawal of $475,000 in cash by the man who killed 22 Nova Scotians in April matches the method the RCMP uses to send money to confidential informants and agents, sources say.

Gabriel Wortman, who is responsible for the largest mass killing in Canadian history, withdrew the money from a Brink’s depot in Dartmouth, N.S., on March 30, stashing a carryall filled with hundred-dollar bills in the trunk of his car.

According to a source close to the police investigation the money came from CIBC Intria, a subsidiary of the chartered bank that handles currency transactions.

Sources in both banking and the RCMP say the transaction is consistent with how the RCMP funnels money to its confidential informants and agents, and is not an option available to private banking customers.

This is a rapidly unfolding story that’s making like a Matthew Bracken novel. The facts: the RCMP police allowed a violent wife beating criminal to keep a stash of illegal guns and several replica police cars, all of which were used to perpetrate the largest mass shooting in Canadian history. Turns out he’s a police agent who was paid a huge amount of cash through their accounts. What followed was a near immediate legislation by Justin Trudeau and our Covid suspended parliament to ban virtually all long guns in Canada.

I suppose conspiracies are to be expected given that nothing ever happens in Nova Scotia.

Why would a man accept a payout of $475,000 to go on a killing spree that would inevitable end in his death?

Maclean’s is not some conspiracy blog, it’s a very liberal leaning national news magazine. I can’t even begin to guess what’s going on, but that massive payment through a known police banking channel needs to be explained.

Why do I immediately think of the Las Vegas mass shooting of a couple of years ago? Anyone else see the similarities?

This would explain why the RCMP has clamped a total communications shutdown on this topic. They ain’t saying nothing, there won’t be any official government report (the NS Premier, Stephen McNeil, an ex-cop and one of their buddies, will make sure of that), and none of the local reporters seem interested in asking questions.

Unless someone talks, we may never know what really happened there

Doesn’t make sense. What does a dead man need with $475,000?

I said since day one this was orchestrated. He probably didn’t know he would be taken out,or the money went to someone he cared about. Any number of reasons. I knew this was a false flag from the start.

Story says nothing about what happened to 475K. If it went back to RCMP then you ask a good Q. If it went to someone else then other Qs arise.

He was a Denturist in a remote east coast area. Most professionals want to live in a big city.

Police prolly gave him a lot of leeway just to keep him around

Why did the FBI wipe all of the witnesses cellphones?

Canadian intelligence has a history of questionable intelligence practices:

Decades later, CSIS’s (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) white supremacy infiltrator (Grant Bristow) tells his story

“He’s a master manipulator,” according to the journalist who exposed (Grant) Bristow. “When someone like that is acting on behalf of the state, we need to manage him properly — and they didn’t.”

For its part, the civilian watchdog tasked with overseeing Canada’s intelligence agency launched an investigation into the scandal-plagued undercover operation.

Many critics of the CSIS operation consider the SIRC report a whitewash, written by a government-appointed watchdog of a government agency.

How do we know he and the dead suspect are the same person? If they went this far why do I find it easy to fake a few documents proving his death.

He had relatives in the RCMP... Maybe they were scamming the government... Hiring a nephew as an informant, paying him huge amounts of cash and pocketing it. The RCMP has a reputation for overpaying informants and allowing them to commit crimes to catch criminals... There was an undercover op in New Brunswick where they paid a drug dealer close to a million to deal drugs and catch other drug dealers.

The court case fell apart and nobody ended up getting charged, but the informant made off with a pile of cash.

We still don’t know why RCMP officers shot up a rural firehall full of civilians during the pursuit.

Have you ever heard of CSIS? There's a reason for that.

If the cash was in his fake RCMP car then it’s likely ashes now. He burned his fake car, and the real RCMP car driven by the female RcMP officer he murdered. He took over another civilian vehicle, which was the one he was driving when they took him down.

As for Premier Stephen McNeil, he was never an RCMP officer, but he had 5 brothers who were police officers, two of whom attained Deputy Chief rank in the Halifax Police Force.
