The tech industry was working on changing master/slave to primary/secondary 15 years ago.
Dunno, I think it depends on who the occupants are. :P
And it was made irrelevant with the end of IDE/PATA at the consumer level, yeah. Entirely aside from the semantic connotations, “master/slave” in computers wasn’t a good representation of many relationships anyway, what with things going increasingly multifunction.

Northstar was a pro-Soviet propaganda movie made during WW2 if I remember correctly.
It was also a mixed Marxist magazine in the early 90’s, possibly associated with the communist movement around “Transactions”.

The local meat market had a separate building nearby they used as a seafood store. The closed it a couple of months ago because they can’t find anyone who wants to work.
