Black Senior State Department Official Resigns to Protest Trump Response to Riots

One of the most senior black Americans in the state department has resigned to protest Donald Trump’s response to the recent riots over the death of George Floyd.
Assistant Secretary of State for Legislative Affairs Mary Elizabeth Taylor gave her resignation to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo saying her action was a matter of conscience.
The pressure on Ms. Taylor to resign must have been enormous. You have to think that friends and family were advising her to cut loose from Trump before she went down with him. Outside forces may also have been pressuring her, as the black community in America has become even more monolithic in its beliefs as a result of the demonstrations and riots.

And on 'Juneteenth'. How significant. So, Ms. Taylor, would you please provide a list of the alleged offensive comments. You know, the ones that are perceived by some folks as racis'. On another point. Did you stay long enough on the 'demtation' to secure your pension? Sort of a "As a female POC, how dare you work for Trump." kind of thing? And, yet again, race is tossed in to the header. Instead of merely saying 'senior staffer resigns', there had to be the divider inserted.

I guarantee you at least 75% of her ‘friends’ angry at her for working with the Trump Administration were jealous.
A. It’s a very high position and she made history being the first black woman to hold it.
B. She is young, attractive and dresses in a professional way; meaning no pig tails, purple hair or dredlocks.
