They argue - again and again - that Obama’s Executive Order was illegal, therefore, it is null and void.
John Roberts is basically saying that there is a time honored statutory method to overturn an Executive Order - just write a new Executive Order.
Trump will never write a new DACA Executive Order.
Trump will never write it because then he would have to explain in great deal why he wants to deport all the DACA kids.
Time and again, Trump has made it clear that he only wants to deport DACA kids who have committed serious crimes.
I stand by the prediction I made in late 2017...
If Trump wins reelection in 2020, he will offer Amnesty to the non-criminal DACA kids in exchange for Democrat and RINO “concessions” that will never be enforced.

DACA ended two years ago. Seems there is disagreement on how to proceed. This ruling was really a procedural clarification that the SCOTUS doesn’t rule from the bench

But all of this insanity has not left any state completely untouched.
The last 2 generations that went to college, they are affecting every state at least a little, as are obama’s sons.
They found the second memo meets the standard so the entire court basically said repackage and DACA is dead if that's your policy intent.
It was a technical loss & remanded so the administration can try again on the paperwork. Trump was not told he can't end DACA. All nine agreed he can.
This will be spun as a loss more than it really is.
This is a delay to make it a campaign issue for both sides.
They'll resubmit.
