Who controls that county jail? I’m guessing it’s not Atlanta’s mayor.
The former police chief said that after the DA charged the six police officers a week or so ago, law enforcement from other jurisdictions who had come in to help during protests pulled out, and it was causing an operational problem for her department. I doubt police from any other cities and counties will show up.
I met Mills Watson at some cars and stars thing in Charlotte as a kid.
He seemed nice enough.

Erick Erickson has an evening drive time radio show on the largest radio station in the state (WSB). If you wanted to get the word out a walkout was in progress, Erickson would be one of the first people you would call.
Sounds as though this DA needs a psych evaluation.

The perimeter high way...takes you around Atlanta rather than into the middle. The problem though is that you would miss going to the varsity restaurant on I-75 at Ga. Tech. Chilly-dog, onion rings, and a coke. Largest drive in restaurant in the USA.
One on the left is the police officer and the other is the man running away.
I am proud of these cops who face certain financial issues when they walk off a job....standing their ground on this.
They have to. They have to send a message.
Someone here posted about how a town in Ohio went through this. Cops refused calls. They ended up “winning” and being called back after the town had had enough of the crime

The DA who just charged the cops in the Rayshard Brooks is currently under investigation for funneling $140,000 in supplement his salary, is facing allegations of sexual harassment, and is currently facing a tough primary challenge.
The second burning of Atlanta, bring it on. Hope the good citizens are well armed for the onslaught of looters an murderers.
Being white and going into these cities was a risk that had to be factored in.
The risk of harm or death has escalated 10 fold.
Polar bear hunting, knock out game.... its going to skyrocket.
This is a death sentence for these cities.
How many? Atlanta must have a huge police force.
