I get the sense that Goodell is throwing the owners under the bus. But It doesn’t make sense.

He knows no team wants Kaepernick, not only for political reasons, but also simply because he’s a back-up QB who has been out of the game for nearly 4 years.

I’m all for it. In fact, pay him more than Brady ever got. Then, make sure all of his passes are completions, and he’s never sacked.
