CHICAGO, IL.- On Friday evening, around a dozen University of Chicago students occupied the campus police building for 20 hours, demanding that the university defund the police department and instead divert funds to grassroots projects on the South Side of the city.
WBBM Newsradio reported that the #CareNotCops campaign, which is part of UChicago’s Student Action set up inside the building on Friday afternoon for a rally and demonstration that lasted overnight Friday and ended Saturday morning.

Seattle’s failure to shut down CHAZ means this crap by kids will be happening all over the nation. Look for many blue cities to have their own CHAZ zones over coming weeks.
Why do they still have power, better yet get maintenance to hard wire the HVAC’s on the roof to heat. Cutting water is OK but if they think that will keep the morons from just crapping and pissing in the toilets, sinks or on the floor their not very bright.
The education system is a complete failure, by design.

The campus is in the middle of hyde park, about 15 blocks square. If not for the campus police, (and the chicago police) these yinyangs would be roasted by the surrounding south side.
You may joke, but a lot of this is from the legalization of pot and the liberalization that’s resulted.
