The plight of blacks who believe in America’s promise

If you think that the war that Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and other leftists are waging against white people is bad, you should see the war that those same groups are waging against black people who don’t toe the party line. They are viewed as race traitors. Three recent stories reveal the risks they run.

In Chicago, Joyce Kenner, the principle of the prestigious Whitney Young Magnet High School, is under attack. The Dayton, Ohio, native remembers living through the riots in 1968, when James Earl Ray, a devotee of Democrat segregationists, murdered Martin Luther King. Her son, when pulled over once, had to explain that the baseball bat in his trunk was actually for baseball. Kenner used to work for Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

Now, though, Kenner is under fire for telling her students not to join the increasingly violent protests. Instead, she says that they should beat the system by being the best – getting educated and getting a job. The new fascists want her fired:

Now, after 25 years at the helm of Whitney Young, she finds herself the target of an online petition, posted by unnamed “disappointed alumni,” calling for her to resign, claiming she has “silenced student activists speaking against all forms of injustice. Her silence and her enabling of the systematic oppression that her black and low-income students face should be condemned.” So far it’s gained more than 800 signatures.

Kenner is currently standing strong, refusing either to apologize or quit:

“You could go by your experience, and the only thing I've ever tried to do is get our black kids educated so they have the opportunity to be part of this world,” Kenner said.

True that. Leftists need a victim class. They need to gin up division. The last thing they want are African Americans becoming successful on their own, because if they do that, then what purpose do the race baiters serve?

Odd coincidence the whole Covid-19 thing was blown out of proportion just as African Americans in the US were achieving record employment levels. Almost as if some group maybe wanted to destroy that achievement.

I live in an extremely diverse middle class neighborhood...Vietnamese, Black, White, Asian, Egyptian, Hispanic, German...Every single person in this neighborhood looks at life exactly like this lady, Joyce Kenner, views things...

I could not ask for a better place to live...My wife and I both claim we live in an Oasis considering the way things have developed over the past few weeks....

It is in my best interests...and my country's best interests...that everyone lawfully living in this country have *at least* the basics.A decent diet,decent housing,heat in the winter,etc,etc.And we have a right to expect all lawful residents to give their very best effort to live a decent,responsible life.Pay attention in school...no drugs...little or no alcohol...get to work by 7 (or 8...or 9)...leave work 8 hours later (or maybe more than 8)...don't resist or threaten if a cop stops you...

Many...and maybe even most...whites manage to do that.If blacks believe themselves to be equal to us (a reasonable belief) then they should be able to do it as well.

They can’t run a city, they can’t keep order, they can’t run a good economy, they can’t provide an environment where people can work and prosper in peace and safety. They tax and regulate their most productive residents to leave for “redder” pastures.

After decades of lofty promises followed by constant failure and blaming ALL but themselves... maybe it’s time their citizens consider not voting the same failures in year after year. They’re way past the definition of insanity now!!!

Over time American will realize Black Lives Matter was instrumental in kicking America when it was down. This isn't going to be a successful Marxist revolution - millennials don't have the attention span to mount one that will withstand corresponding counter revolution.

Once all the fake guilt wears off, as real estate values crater, blacks are going to be more popular than ever with the rest of America. This is going to be terrible for them over the next 15 years.

Anything and Everything to stop president Trump from being re-elected. This guy had black employment at record levels. Business need insurance to function (also knowing that there biz not going to be looted helps too), insurances companies insure things where there is some law and order - anyone see the problem here? oh yeah orange man bad, cops are bad America is bad blah blah blah

When the Equal Rights Amendment was passed by Congress, black men had hopes in the American Dream of moving up. But, liberals decided to promote women's liberation, and the black man was moved to the back of the line.

Once women moved up the ladder, the black men had hopes of following. But that didn’t happen. Then liberals pushed for gay rights, and black men were again moved to the back of the line. Then the liberals decided illegal aliens were the new victims that deserved the front of the bus. Today, it's the transgender’s turn. Soon, it will be the pedophile's turn.

Keep dreaming, one of these centuries liberals will let black men have a turn.
