For the many political and social activists inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, erasing history is a perfectly acceptable remedy to the many systems of oppression in the institutions of America.
First and foremost, movies and television series that don’t fit a very specific social justice viewpoint must be expunged.
“Gone with the Wind” has been removed from HBO’s streaming service. The shows “Cops” and “Live PD” have both been canceled by their respective networks. Now, Amazon may soon follow suit by removing the beloved ’80s action-comedy series “The Dukes of Hazzard” from its streaming service.

The flag is a middle finger to the establishment. Nobody wants to own slaves anymore, and very few ever did. The flag irritates the elites. The more their ancestors profited from the institution of slavery, the more that flag probably irritates them. Search YouTube for the concert in 76 where Skynyrd opened for Elton John in Oakland. Nobody there wanted slavery. That’s stupid.

My great great uncles fought under the Tennessee battle flag, and I honor them on Confederate Memorial Day, by flying the flag. That’s in Minnesota, and you’re liable to see a lot more of them in daily travels.
I saw a post on another site that said the last flag of the Confederacy was all white.
Today’s children, and yes I refer to a lot of folks deep into
middle age there, just aren’t in tune with any aspects of
the Civil War and what came along behind.
Those statues and flags were allowed to help mend the
terrible harm that had been done to the nation fabric.
Allowing the South to lick their wounds and have some pride,
wasn’t out of line at all. The peace stuck and the nation
came back together over time.
Now these (self professed) intellectual of the day, wish
to rip that all apart. It’s divisive, and so unnecessary.
I don’t know of, or have ever heard of an individual who
thinks we should go back to pre Civll War days and adopt
the same bad things that took place then.
I honestly don’t know what the KKK views on that are, but
isn’t that something we should all be able to say with
pride? The KKK has no power at all. It’s just a figure
head for total losers. That’s universally accepted.
These racists on the streets today might as well be
recruiting for the KKK, the way they are acting, the
abuses they are heaping on Whites.
There is going to be a backlash. You just wait and see.
Folks aren’t going to put up with this forever.
