How about a statue commemorating the 300,000 who died to set the slaves free?
being on his knees it doesnt mean the same today ....he was thankful ...now it means full of hate
But they didnt set the slaves free. There were slaves after the Civil War concluded. It was always going to take a constitutional amendment to accomplish that. War didnt do it and couldnt do it, so long as the constitution remained in effect.
Hey don’t forget the Statue of Liberty. Considering the torrid history of the US, it should be torn down immediately as well. </s>
It’s the Taliban come to America.
I say we shoot them.

“I would always ask myself, ‘If he’s free why is he still on his knees?’”
If Americans are free, why does BLM demand whites get on their knees?
well...it really is a front row seat to how radicals much like teenagers if given an inch take a mile.
They are simply making our case for us.
Wonder if the Christian suburban moms using at home education models AND VOTING DEMOCRAT will shift gears or not.
Hi.
Hope you are doing well.

This is getting good.
Let the loons go off.
My dad would say, just like in fishing, let him take the bait before setting the hook.
Bam, I called it.
You got that right mate! These filthy bastards picked the Confederate stuff first because it is low hanging fruit and knew they’d get a lot of support from mushy headed northerners. In reality they LOATHE ALL of Americana so absolutely nothing is sacrosanct.
It’s a depiction of an enslaved person’s state before Lincoln’s actions that freed him.
If the Republican Lincoln had lost the election of 1860 to any of the democrats running, who knows when slavery would have ended in the U.S.
Leave Abraham Lincoln alone.
“’If he’s free why is he still on his knees?’””
He’s taking a knee for the past horrors of slavery. In fact slavery was so bad he took both knees.
That is an interesting comment.
If northern troops were, indeed, “fighting to free the slaves” then they were fighting to overthrow the United States Constitution.
The United States Constitution enshrined slavery. Overthrowing slavery required a constitutional amendment which should have been a peaceful process. It would have made a war to “free the slaves” totally unnecessary.
Here's the historical problem: no northern U.S. Senator or Congressman - including Congressman Abraham Lincoln - ever introduced a proposed constitutional amendment to end slavery before the war.
They simply did not consider it in their economic and political best self-interest.
Maybe we can just remove the stars from the flag?
Where and when did this happen? I've never heard of it. I'm aware that 750,000 people were killed during Lincoln's invasion of the South, and as an afterthought, they abolished slavery, but mainly to break the Souths economic power, not because they actually gave a sh*t about slaves.
It would be interesting to learn of an event in which men actually died for the purpose of freeing people from slavery instead of dying to place the chains of Washington DC control on other people.
Did this happen in Africa or something?
Plus, she's walking. Taking the torch of Liberty to the world.
But nooo...!
Hmmmmm...not following. Please expound.
