The point?
With its ambiguity and implied promises of a huge emotional payout, clickbait goes above and beyond in evoking FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out, as with toilet paper): If you don’t click, you are literally missing out.
Psychologists have become more interested in FOMO as a phenomenon, especially as it relates to younger people whose brain structures have not finished maturing. Although FOMO has always existed, digital technology broadens the horizon of opportunities to experience it.

IMO the police were way over the top. Apparently golf carts are used for transportation wherever it is. While checking the first cart several fly by.
Stop the cart, tell them too many people on the cart.
But no, started an ugly incident.
Tourist places Pigeon Forge TN rent golf carts and side-by-sides for tourists. Cops were just doing their job, they ran a stop sign, got pulled over just like you would in a car.
The real brouhaha started when the guy passed his drugs off to the woman and she stuffed them down her pants, then the whole group went feral when they went to arrest those two.
Cops were just doing what they had to do, but I am surprised they didn’t have tasers TBH, notice how the group got even more violent at gunpoint though, that was just plain stupid on their part as well. Cop has you at gunpoint, you don’t try to circle him and take a combative pose, this wasn’t the cops fault for escalation, it was the groups 100% that they all rightfully went to jail.

I didn’t know golf carts could be made street legal. We have yeahoos out where I live that think all you have to do to drive a four-wheeler or side-by-side on the road is display a slow moving vehicle triangle on the rear. They usually find out the hard way this won’t get it.

Tale of two arrests.
Folks in second scenario do not want to obey the Law
I didn’t see anything wrong or stupid on the part of the police. They were doing their job.. stopping and ticketing people using golf carts inappropriately. They had just ticketed one group for an overcrowded cart and this second cart came by, overcrowded and weaving on the wrong side of the road. The cop was writing a ticket when he saw the drugs passed to the woman.
This group of people has been pushing back at authority all their lives with much success. Notice the passive/ aggressive behavior.. crowding in on the cops and ignoring their commands to back off, while at the same time keeping their hands up to show fake/compliance. Well, those hands could come down in an instant and become attack weapons if the situation was favorable.
The police did well.
Police assigned to control moving violations, running stop signs, no seatbelt, vehicle overcrowding.
First group pulled over. White family. Family stayed on the golf cart. Listened to the Police. Police gave them a ticket. No incident.
Second group pulled over. Black group, same moving violations. Black group did everything opposite of White group. Someone tried to hide the drugs. All people in golf cart advanced on Police Officers during an arrest.
Interesting contrast and insight into Black culture
....and the one big guy tried to negotiate with the Police.
