"Bye-bye Tucker Carlson!" T-Mobile CEO says as advertisers drop Fox News show(because he was critical of BLM)
CBS News ^ | 6/11/2020 | KATE GIBSON

Companies including T-Mobile and Papa John's Pizza are distancing themselves from Tucker Carlson's television show on Fox News after the conservative host's dismissive comments about the Black Lives Matters movement.

The backlash intensified after Carlson on Monday offered an inflammatory take on the nationwide anti-racism demonstrations that have followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

"This may be a lot of things, this moment we're living through, but it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will," Carlson told viewers on June 8, the first day of Floyd's memorial in his adopted hometown of Houston.

Asked by a Twitter user the next day if Carlson's message was one T-Mobile supported, CEO Mike Sievert tweeted back, "It definitely is not. Bye-bye Tucker Carlson! #BlackLivesMatter."

In fact, the telecom said in a subsequent tweet that it had cut ties with Carlson in early May, noting that it had "cancelled all future placements" and that T-Mobile will "continue to support those who stand against racial injustice."

Rudy Giuliani just had the founder of Papa John’s on Common Sense. He sounded good. Don’t know if he sold it off or has any involvement still. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bDbK2mwn0Pc

George Bailey was desperately sad. The hatriots are revolted by their emptiness of spirit

Patriot Mobile, maybe?

I'll look into that. If I cancel T-Mobile, I will not tell them why. They'd probably dox me all over the internet as a racist.

This seems similar to the “Slut” comment Rush made a few years ago. As I recall, that ended badly for one of the idiot companies, Sleep Train, that made a big deal about how they were boycotting Rush’s show. I LOVE how that one ended!

What these White liberals don’t get is that BLM hates them even more than they hate conservatives.

When BLM isn't laughing their asses off at them like they were when Pelosi and her gang kneeled.

“Put your money where your mouth is, Mr. CEO, give up your job to a black man.”

Exactly correct. Every one of these phony CEOs, news anchors, sports coaches (I’m looking at you pizza-face Popovich) etc. needs to resign tomorrow and demand that a black person take their job!!! What’s the matter? You’re not woke enough to do that? I am so sick of all this BS!!

When Jews Attack Black Lives Matter, It Only Fuels Anti-
Semitism
https://jewishjournal.com/commentary/columnist/317038/black-lives-should-matter-jews/
By
Hen Mazzig
June 8, 2020
...With protests all over the world expressing the grief and anger many black people feel toward the disproportionate police brutality they face, I decided to publicly support the movement. When I posted Black Lives Matter online, the responses from Jews in America were shocking.

Some started bombarding me with replies that Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an anti-Israel cabal. That they are not protestors but looters and criminals. That Jews should not be supporting, but rather boycotting them. A few people claimed it was all “George Soros’s doing.” I pointed out that anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists like former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke were employing the same rhetoric. One American Jew replied, “Well, he is right about Soros.” I could not believe it.

JEWS SHUNNING THE CAUSE ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO HELP ISRAEL.

I am not new to the fight against anti-Semitism and the anti-Israel politicization of progressive causes. I have challenged the Women’s March and LGBTQ groups who were bigoted against the Jewish community and Israel. I think it is terrible that some parts of BLM demonize my home country. However, Jews shunning the cause are not doing anything to help Israel.

The black community in America needs and deserves our voice and support. We must not allow the few activists trying to turn this important cause into an anti-Israel campaign to succeed...

RE:”Well, if no one agrees to advertise on his show except for My Pillow, how will the show pay its bills? Ads are the lifeblood of TV shows.”

In that hypothetical FNC would pay for the show out of their own profits.

TC has the highest ratings on FNC.

He's on fire.

The other night he put up a picture of McConnell and called congressional Republicans cowards for praising BLM and silence on the riots, looting, arson, assaults, etc.

Why I, a Minneapolis Rabbi, Changed My Mind About ‘Black Lives Matter’
By RABBI AVI S. OLITZKY
Jun 2 2020

I previously grimaced when I heard the rallying cry “Black Lives Matter.” I grimaced really for one reason only: the stance the Movement for Black Lives platform took on Israel back in 2016. The comprehensive document referred to Israel as an “apartheid state” and condemned the United States for its “alliance with Israel and [being] complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people.” Such rhetoric broke my heart.

They will keep him

The point is the prostitutes pulling out of the show

Know them, don’t pay them.

Ice Cube Faces Backlash After Sharing Anti-Semitic Memes
According to the Daily Beast, the rapper has a history of anti-Semitism

The Daily Beast points to the actor and rapper’s support of Louis Farrakhan, his history of referencing Jews in his lyrics and a 2015 incident in which he allegedly ordered his entourage to beat up a rabbi. The article also notes the anti-Semitism of the aforementioned “Freedom for Humanity” mural by graffiti artist Mear One, which Ice Cube posted:

“Some of the older white Jewish folk in the local community had an issue with me portraying their beloved #Rothschild or #Warburg etc as the demons they are,” Mear One wrote of the piece, tipping his cap to the anti-Semitic conspiracy that the Rothschild family in Europe and Warburg family in America are the world’s Jewish puppet-masters. “Freedom for Humanity” caused an uproar when Jeremy Corbyn, the anti-Semitic ex-Labour Party leader, shared it on his Facebook page.

Anti-Semitism Is Creeping Into Progressivism
https://time.com/4839592/anti-semitism-lgbtq-pride/

For example, we do not agree with every tenet in the Black Lives Matter platform. We were outraged by the baseless accusations made against Israel in the M4BL platform released last summer. However, we find common cause with many in the BLM movement around the quest to achieve educational equity, end the school-to-prison pipeline and stop the use of excessive force and the killing of unarmed African Americans by some in law enforcement.

Why Do Black Activists Care About Palestine?
A controversy over anti-Israel statements in the Movement for Black Lives political platform shows the long history of tension between Jews and blacks in the U.S.

It’s not clear what the Movement for Black Lives will do about the backlash against this part of its platform, if anything. An informal spokesperson for the drafting committee, Zakiya Scott, declined interviews, saying, “Folks have been getting a lot of criticism for the divest / invest piece of the platform. Before we say anything as a group, it has to be agreed upon by the members of the leadership team and the endorsing organizations.”
