Well, we’ve come full circle. We’re back to “this is the black death” or the 1918 flu. Expect every other person you pass on the street for the next 2 months to drop dead.
Zevon was a truly unique act. I used to sing Werewolves for a rock cover band. Forced me to get into the lyrics.
They may... it’s still better than the 2 million initially estimated.
>Yawn< More experts.
As soon as i saw Dr. Fraud Fauci’s name I knew it was fake news about the Wuhan Virus.
Monkeys COULD fly out of my butt.
The “spike” in New Mexico was due to reporting last Friday of 330 cases from a federal detention facility in far southern Otero County just north of El Paso. Otherwise the number of cases reported Tuesday was the lowest since early April..

Baloney!
The CDC counts 100% of pneumonia deaths as COVID-19 deaths if the victim tests (or is presumed to be) positive for COVID-19.
Roughly half of pneumonia deaths test positive for influenza or the common cold, but less than 10% are classified as an influenza death.
Please refer to pages 4-6 of the following link to understand how the CDC requires state officials to fill out a death certificate.
COVID-19 always comes out as the “Underlying Cause of Death.”
My guess is that the same rule is being followed for all diseases that are positive for COVID-19. But, the link definitively makes the case that the rule is being followed for pneumonia and other acute respiratory diseases.

I expect deaths to continue unless one of the viral treatments works and gets accepted for widespread use. Since at least one is already allowed for emergency (I assume that means a person is dying), I am worried that it must not be working that well, or we’d see lowering deaths.
But unlike the hysterical tone of this article, I do not think that we need to “act” because people are dying of a disease, any more than we have “acted” to stop people from getting heart disease.
People will get sick, and people will die. So long as we don’t overwhelm hospitals, or get to where people are dying who would have lived with better treatment, this is just the way things are. People die of flu, people die of food poisoning, people die at protest rallies.
“The concerning numbers came “ just after George Floyd’s death and subsequent protests.
It is funny how everybody is pretending we all got “unlocked” on memorial day. Or that memorial day was some mass move by people to violate the rules (we see a couple of cases of that at best).
Does this scary looking figure include people on hospice, in cancer wards, people over 80 with serious co-morbidities, or other people who would have soon died anyway?
Nobody believes the fudged death toll from CV. You get run over by a steam roller, test positive for CV, and it’s listed as a CV death. The “experts” have had it wrong all along.
I was in the Albuquerque area last weekend - masks everywhere on folks. Drove back to southern Lea County - masks are the exception rather than the rule. 30 cases of cv19 for county population of 71,100 shows in many minds (mine included) that the actual risk is low. They may also be informed about the poor effectiveness of masks if you aren’t sick to begin with.
Anyone see any breakouts of cause of death like the flu and pneumonia? Or is it all lumped in with the chinese virus.
Well, there you go. Trump definitely has to stop the rallies. No rallies for Trump now. Too bad this comes out after DNC already had their multi-state Biden/Floyd rallies, I mean cough, cough, funeral(s).
They obviously haven't tried to get a haircut anywhere in New Jersey. Still illegal. Despite new cases dropping from a peak of nearly 4,000 per day down to 500 per day on average while daily deaths have dropped from a peak of around 300 per day to around 70 per day on average.
#31 the police can say they did not cause Floyd’s death but that the chinese virus did!
I knew they were going to try this again. They are so predictable.
