You can count the under 35s that oppose this stuff on the fingers of one hand.
............................................
I think the situation appears as you’ve described because, as the saying goes, it’s the squeaky wheel that gets the attention. But I believe the vast majority of people under 35 are not participants or supporters of the lunatic fringe, On the other hand, I’m sure there are a great many of them who deem it necessary to act rebellious and cheer on the thugs, but if/when threats of physical danger get serious most all of them will become basically invisible.
Oh, piff. There’s plenty to worry about without inventing it.
RE: What about states rights? If the Governor wants his state to burn down, let it happen.
What about insurrection?
The US constitution gives Congress the Power to suppress it.
Section 8 of Article I of the Constitution states that Congress has to power:
15: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
Question: Does this thing going on in Seattle constitute INSURRECTION?
That doesn’t make them ‘not commies’.
It just makes them ‘cowardly commies’.
Exactly so. We worry about earning a living, they spend their time demanding "access to services."
and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.
.....................................................
Has the executive or the legislature made such application?
If not the President can patiently wait until such application is received.
The people of Seattle should rise up and take over this illegal government
........................................
According to what I’ve read and heard in the media, a large percentage of the people of Seattle are supportive of the rabble!
Exactly. Trump should simply put them on display for what they are. The rest will solve itself in November.
Trump could prevent his problem by not threatening actions that he will not carry out.
The Russian hostage approach: Nerve gas everyone and sort out the still alive quivering bodies from the cold ones. Safer that way.
Our son listed his house, sold it and moved away.
Good going, kiddo...
And if, for the sake of argument, I was as intelligent as you then what would be my reaction to Trump's threat?
Haven’t been to Seattle in over 20 years, but my perception is that the majority of the inhabitants are effeminate safe-space liberals who are scared to death of guns, freedom, and any difference of opinion.
Don’t worry. We’ll nuke’m from space just to be sure. ;-)
DD - You do seem to be trying to get a rise out us ‘Mericans. President Trump knows what he’s doing, starting with getting this story into the news cycle whether they like it or not.
No, no it won’t.
You’ve learned nothing over the last four years?
************
I’m a Trump supporter who has donated a lot of money to his campaigns, but I’m not an unquestioning drone. We should never stop questioning those who lead us.
We’re in a very dicey time in this nation’s history and he has to be very measured in what he says. There’s an old expression that says “Say what you mean, and mean what you say”. Trump had best be prepared to back up his words lest he appear weak to a growing mass of violent anarchists. And that would be very bad for all of us.
Spot on.
Or just surround the 6 block radius cut the power andand wait. With no food or power they will last a day or two at most.
“Wake up and smell the flippin’ coffee”
Next time try to actually say something useful. You sound like a moron.
