Sen. Mitt Romney predicted President Trump will be reelected this fall despite breaking with the president several times during his first term in office.
I'm confident that we will keep the majority in the Senate," Romney said Wednesday, according to Politico reporter Jake Sherman. "And I actually have long predicted the president will be reelected I continue to think that's the case.
Romney, who ran for president and lost in 2012, has been one of the few Republican senators to criticize Trump for his public remarks, tweets, or policies.

He believed he was headed for a win in 2012. In his defense, if it hadn't been for Hurricane Sandy he might have won. I voted for that fool, but I greatly dreaded the prospect he would actually win. Were it not for the possibilities of preventing further damage to the courts, I would have sat that election out.

RussiaGate will play *no* role in political debate from now until November...REGARDLESS of who might be indicted.
Race and unemployment are all that will matter until Election Day.

If he has to say he’s confident, then he isn’t.

I’ll disagree until the dust settles.
It hasn’t even cleared yet.

“Sen. Mitt Romney predicted President Trump will be reelected this fall despite breaking with the president several times during his first term in office.”
Yeah, voting to remove him from office is just ‘breaking with the President’, like a little disagreement.

It’s very difficult to unseat a senator.
The Republicans have more seats to protect, but fewer that are in play.
Also the Democrats MUST defend de-funding the cops.
Republicans are more likely to gain the House than lose the Senate.
It all depends on protecting the vote.
An October surprise ids Trump signing an EO requiring either in person voting or a requested absentee ballot with SS# & DL or State ID#.

If Shannon O’Brien didn’t threaten to show Massachusetts where on her frame she got a tattoo, Mitt would possibly be an afterthought today

Yep. This poll: "Poll: Utah GOP primary voters back President Trump, disapprove of Sen. Mitt Romney"
https://www.sltrib.com/news/politics/2020/06/09/poll-utah-gop-primary/
Like I said in another thread, Romney only opens his mouth when the polls come out.
To: kevcol
Darn, that just ruined my night. Romney has never been right about anything!
To: kevcol
So Romney didn’t think Trump would be elected in 2016 and he thought he would be elected in 2012. His track record isn’t great but on the other hand he’s due for being right.

What percentage of Americans have the first clue who Clapper,Brennan or Rosenstein are? I'd wager the clothes on it being no more than 5%.
And why is that? Because their names are never mentioned...and WILL never be mentioned...anywhere but on Fox News, talk radio and the NY Post.
