You seem to be under the impression that Minneapolis *wants* businesses to stay and expand.
You are sadly mistaken. First problem is that literally every business location that burned down or was looted is now uninsurable for much of the next decade.
This specific manufacturer has been hammered in online reviews as being a huge Trump supporter and too political for the area. He would probably like Texas.
This is far from the first, second, third, fourth or eighty-fifth sign of trouble in New Mogadishu, MN.
Also note that the fire department came out to the factory when it was still savable - and refused to do anything. They just sat there and watched it burn.
What would be the point of rebuilding if even the fire department won’t do their job?
