Instead of the stupif remarks about dave knealing on someone’s neck for 9 minutes to prove a point, It may be better to have Dave W put im the backseat of a cop car with an aggravated, drugged up, 6’7” 275# handcuffed prep for 9 minutes, And tell the prep in his drug fueled state if he can get out he can go free.

For a criminal who has already been in and out of prison since 1998, 5 years isn’t a very long stretch for that crime...how long was he actually given ??? He got out in 2014...

I recall Police restraining someone at Vancouver airport. Police tased the man. The man had some weird medical condition, and died.
Point being, techniques that are effective and safe in almost all situations can result in a very bad outcome.

EVERY ONE of these fake racism incidents — Florida, Ferguson, and now Minnesota— starts off with an “innocent” black dude who is later revealed to be a thug or on drugs. Think about it. Why don’t they use legitimate racial acts?
First, it’s because their intent in NOT to solve racism, but to divide us, promote lawlessness, and ultimately destroy the USA. Reasonable people will come to the conclusion the arrestee paid the price for his crimes. Emotional people will hold to their perception of police abuse.
Second, it’s because they can’t find real racial acts. Endemic racism doesn’t exist in America. It might be around in pockets like COVID-19 is around. But the narrative of systemic racism is a lie.
Third, it buries the reality that a MUCH higher rate of crime is committed by blacks than whites. Ignoring this reality will prevent solutions and perpetuate division.

Thank you for weighing in and referencing your background and I agree with you wholeheartedly. Once the situation appears to be controlled and the suspect is not resisting force is minimized. This is not what happened in the video, this was a cop slowly murdering someone. Floyd was no angel and punishment is not the cops decision.
