I’ve been thinking of a way of expressing that thought. Good job.
Indeed it gets down to one force against another. Physical force, not just word battles. May the stronger culture win.

He was cuffed and a non threat, he was out numbered 4 to 1.
He resisted going in the car. Cops threes him to the ground, fine.
However they then kneeled on his neck not only until he was inconscious but for several more minutes.. no threat to anyone. They killed him, pure and simple and the attempt to claim their actions are somehow justified is indefensible.
Stop the nonsense folks.. just stop. The cops actions cannot be whitewashed. I have no problem they threw him to the ground after he resisted (already cuffed btw) getting in the car.. but kneeling on his neck and even at one point having a gun drawn and pointed at him while prone and subdued is not in any way justifiable.. or justified..
The cops screwed up, no excuse or justification can be made for kneeling on a man’s neck until he is unconscious and then continuing to do so for several more minutes. Only to finally relent whenthe emt’s you called when he passed out demand you to get off him so they can check his pulse.
Stop trying to find justifications for these cops actions, they do. It exist. In no policy for restraint is kneeling on a man’s neck allowed..
They killed this man, cops are people and some of them do bad things. Intentionally or unintentionally... these cops did a very bad thing, stop trying to spin this. Just stop.

I have little doubt that the full footage will show the police had adequate reason to restrain Big George. But 9 minutes of kneeing on his neck, 3 of them after he stops moving and has no pulse, is going to be a tough sell.
You could even convince me that Chauvin was not trying to compress the carotid, but merely restrain, but that wouldn’t be enough to get him off scot-free in my judgement, and certainly not in the mob’s judgement.
Putting pressure on one will not affect(certainty to the point of death) the oxygen supply to the brain of a normal, healthy person.
In the end, the cop isn't a doctor and was following procedures to protect him, fellow officers and the public.
Obviously, we as a society cannot demand that each criminal go through health checks before they commit crimes to avoid dying during legal and sanctioned crime fighting procedures.

Both suggestions(no knee on neck + shoot them in the legs) would cause more harm than good.
So there is no evidence that can be produced that will show the charged 2nd degree homicide is not warranted?
