What’s the practical difference between “police” and “patrol”?
You can “defend our communities” but your communities are going to need the grocery stores they burned down. How will you defend them against starvation?

Let them police their own neighborhoods. It will be interesting to see what they do when burning and looting destroys the neighborhood. Walking a “patrol” is easy. Figuring out what to do when you see a crime in progress is a little more difficult. My guess: The neighborhood will implode.

BLM riots and posturing have caused a split between my brother and I, as he firmly believes that “The police are out of control”.
So I looked at the numbers. The deaths by race caused by police action are all over the place, as it is a fertile ground for sociologists, the least scientific soft science. So I used the numbers from Statista for 2017. In that year there were 457 white deaths at the hands of the police and 223 black deaths.
If you ratio that by general population which the media typically dies you get 2/million for whites and 5/million for blacks. QED for BLM? No.
In 2017 the number of arreste from the FBI (Table43) lists 5.6 million arrests of whites and 2.2 million arrests for blacks, and blacks predominate in violent crime like murder 5,000 versus 4000 white arrests.
My logic says police aren’t picking off budding rap stars at random, but are dealing with them in serious crime situations lethally.
So the deaths per all arrests for whites is 457/5.6 million arrest or 82/million. For blacks the ratio is 223/2.2 or 100/million. I don’t see that as significant; certainly not enough to paint the streets of the nation’s capital.
If there is a problem it is in the bigger population centers where the black population lives and where the “control” is in the hands of fully integrated mayors and police forces.
It isn’t a federal or presidential problem in any case.
About time for black lives matter to be declared a domestic terrorist organization before things really get out of hand.
Several states have already seceded by declaring themselves to be sanctuaries. They now allow subversive ferals to take control of their cities.
This is good. The cities will destroy themselves, something the tyranny of lawyers will not and cannot do
But Whites are racist for defending their communities and neighborhoods, man we are thru the looking glass here folks.
They won't be greeted with open arms in most rural areas.
Defending their communities is a good idea. They won’t have to look far, the killers are right there.
What they are calling for is ‘no-g-’ zones where no one enters to enact any sort of order and restraint.
The answer to this is to allow it to happen for a month or two, and see how it works. I think by the end of it the message will be heard that it does not work. The good people of the black communities will revolt.
If you can't accomplish THAT simple singular thing, go away. You're useless.

The purpose of 'protest' has changed from a call for justice from people robbed of their right to vote and a place at the table - to intimidation and a call for mob rule. It's wrong.
Today's organizers are not in the style of Gandhi or MLK... men who were shut out of the legal process for change. These organizers are in the style of totalitarian thugs since the dawn of time - from the thugs of the Chinese Cultural Revolution to the thugs of Hitler's brown shirts.
