Former Republican President George W. Bush is reportedly not supporting President Donald Trump for reelection in 2020, people familiar with his thinking told the New York Times.
Bush is just one of many well-known Republican politicians who do not plan to vote for Trump, the NYT reported. Bushs brother, former Republican Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, is reportedly on the fence regarding who he will give his vote to, people familiar with his thinking noted, according to the NYT.
It is not immediately clear why Bush wont vote for Trump in 2020. The presidents response regarding recent police brutality protests and how he has handled the novel coronavirus pandemic are reportedly reasons why some prominent Republicans wont be backing Trump.

Other Republicans who reportedly wont be voting for Trump this year include Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, Arizona Sen. John McCains widow Cindy McCain, and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, the NYT reported. Powell has been vocal about not backing the current president, saying on CNNs State of the Union Sunday that he cannot in any way support President Trump this year.
It is not known yet if the Republicans opposing Trump plan to vote for the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. (RELATED: Bush Office Thanks Trump For Support Amid State Funeral)
Freddy Ford, a spokesman for Bush, said he will not be involving himself in the 2020 election, the NYT reported. Bush only plans to speak on policy issues, such as when he recently noted that America has to examine our tragic failures regarding race.
Bush and his father were running dogs for the Saudis and the Chinese. His mother and his wife were big fans of Planned Parenthood and abortion.
No surprise here, but whatever legacy this weasel had has been squandered.
Did he say he voted for him in 2016? I missed that.
I doubt he did in 2016 either.
I doubt he did in 2016 either.
This is actually good news that globalist Dubya won’t vote for POTUS
The Re all weasels. This one is probably afraid a second Trump term will lead to an investigation of how he and his pal Bubba stole $2 billion dollars from the poor suffering people of Haiti.
He didn’t say, but I’m certain he voted for Hitlery. His mother looked upon Bubba as another son.
They’re dead to me. No Bushes in 2020.
Write in for Jeb!
Nothing Bush does surprises me. They all lack spine. They are all corrupt. No good comes from any Bush. All should be in prison.

It sometimes embarrasses me that I voted for this swamp creature, but given the choice of him or Al Gore, it really wasn’t a difficult decision.
Gee, ya think?
The days of the GOP being the more right faction of the Democratic Party are OVER!

FLASHBACK:
George W. and Laura Bush vote for none-of-the-above
By BENJAMIN ORESKES 11/08/2016
Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, declined to vote for either Hillary Clinton on Donald Trump, a spokesman for the 43rd president told POLITICO on Tuesday.
The former couple voted for “None Of The Above for President,” spokesman Freddy Ford said, adding they they voted “Republican downballot.”
Why is this news? We know he didn’t vote for him in 16, nor did Romney.. so them saying we won’t vote for him again is NOT NEWS....
It shows how deep the state and swamp are. Keep on keepin’ on Mr. President.
Of course. Thanks for posting. It all makes sense. Fool me once, shame on you. Deceive me 10+ times. FUW.
Beware of Fake News. I saw a statement on Twitter that basically denied this.
You know what ticks me off: we were fed a series of establishments GOP candidates, and were told to vote for them for the good of the party. But when we get the candidates that represent the rank & file conservatives, the establishment undermines them. And this occurs not only for the presidency, but for senators and congressmen.
And I think Trump drives them crazy because he can’t be cowed or bought by the establishment.
