The late evening of Aug. 9, 2014, I couldnt sleep. I was due to substitute-anchor MSNBCs UP with Steve Kornacki and should have been asleep. But after looking at my Twitter feed and reading the rage under #Ferguson, I felt compelled to type a reaction to the killing of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson. Tying the shooting to the inane whine of certain politicians about a war on whites, I decried the next morning the death of yet another unarmed black man at the hands of a white police officer.
In those early hours and early days, there was more unknown than known. But this month, the Justice Department released two must-read investigations connected to the killing of Brown that filled in blanks, corrected the record and brought sunlight to dark places by revealing ugly practices that institutionalized racism and hardship. They have also forced me to deal with two uncomfortable truths: Brown never surrendered with his hands up, and Wilson was justified in shooting Brown...

And no one today would care who George Zimmerman is if Trayvon Martin had successfully murdered him.
The Post? Washington Bezos Post??? This deserves attention.
Truth served up with a heavy seasoning of ‘yeah but” is better than no truth at all.
>>Hands up, dont shoot was built on a lie<<
...as are most of the radical left’s marching chants.
They are designed to be easy to recite and only serve to create a mob lock-step environment
It appears that Jonathan may be close to taking that red pill...
Black lives matter. I don’t even care that there are a lot of blacks who say you can’t say all lives matter. Let them be ethnocentric; they lost the moral high ground; they’re going for the power high ground.
I do care that other lives don’t matter to the media and the education system, that they rend their garments and wail for some black lives lost, and ignore other black lives, and other lives, so they can mislead people and make hatred and hostility grow.
this is why the Left moves quickly in these cases. gotta get the narrative out there before the facts are out there.
Im in total shock here......./s
LOL😳
The DOJ found plenty of problemscivil rights violationsin the Ferguson justice system. However, Darren Wilson was not guilty of murdering an innocent black man who was trying to surrender with hands up. There are two reports.
No doubt in my mind. There are bad police departments and courts, mostly in blue state, Democrat strongholds. Theres no nationwide systemic racism though.
Why are blacks not holding their Democrat leaders responsible? Minneapolis police are controlled by a Democrat mayor. How in the world is he getting a pass?
The people marching and rioting dont understand how local / state / Federal governments work, and separation of powers. Thats why.
Ive looked it up, Minneapolis has has Dem leadership for 40+ years, Buffalo for 50. Somehow the problems with the police forces in those places are all Trumps fault.
Interesting how the NFL denied the Dallas Cowboys putting memorial decals on their helmets but allowed the fake Hands Up Don’t Shoot T-shirts on those NFL players coming out onto the field back then.
The DOJ report and findings were a pack of Eric Holder lies and misinterpretations. The Ferguson police department, while not perfect, was (and still is) much superior to every other police force in the area. The DOJ negotiated one agreement with the city, then produced an entirely different one and forced the city to sign. Ferguson was the test case for these lying, subversive, treasonous jackals. They learned and refined their strategies here and are now implementing them across the country.

Going forward, anytime an unarmed “civilian” is killed by a policeman, there will be trouble. Cops do not have the ‘benefit of the doubt’ anymore, when there is a dead citizen. Especially any cop without their body camera recording evidence that exculpates them.
If the policeman is white and the unarmed (and by this I mean you *can’t prove they were armed with a gun*) and the person killed is black, there will be a riot.
There is no choice but to act upon this reality (well, besides having your city burned down).
All of it’s built on a lie.

If you ask 1,000 black people if "hands up, don't shoot" happened, maybe 10 would say NO. My guess.
And, of course, the Media STILL lets this and many other lies keep rolling.
