Many years ago there was a black doctor in New Orleans who published a newspaper of sorts, and that rag routinely did that. The doctor was eventually charged with fraud.
And they capitalize the “b” in black, but not brown. Is one group even more special than the other?

Oddly no one ever questions the righteousness of their exclusion of pretty much any other set of genes existing on “their” land.

Sadly, there are some serious issues concerning law enforcement in this country that should be addressed with how officers are recruited, trained and finally the expectations and standards that are set on them when they are doing their job.
However, turning this into a “race issue” simply takes away from the real issue. All races, sexes and national origins are affected by communities that basically turn their cops into meter maids, someone with a badge and a gun that is on a power trip, a lack of discretion, etc.
Also very sad is that there are a lot (most) in law enforcement that are very professional and have genuine / good motives...
The stirring up of people and race baiting does absolutely no good, including something like 5 black police officers killed so far in riots associated with this. Trying to make sense of all this won’t work because this isn’t about rational thought, it’s all about stirring up a particular group (identity politics: sex, age, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation...). This is a chance for so called “leaders” to throw themselves in front of a crowd and scream the loudest, proclaiming to be their voice.
We look to the Middle East in bewilderment and amazement, seeing morons like Salam Daher (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salam_Daher) and their media spout trash that is so epically idiotic, so ridiculous, that it’s laughable, and the Arab people believe much of it. Sadly again, it’s no different here.
I don’t see the real purpose in pointing this. It’s something that has been said a thousand times here already. I think we see more leftist news than the left does :-)

I grew up on a working farm. We grew our own food. That included fruit, veggies and meat. It was very hard work but those veggies, etc sure were good in the winter time. We even had cotton. Hoeing cotton and then picking cotton is very, very hard work. It takes a lot of cotton to make a bale. Thankfully, my uncle only had it one year. No white privilege at my house.

We would ask those who desire an “accountable” or “just” police force: At what point in this history, in what period, do they believe that police became an institution that intended anything other than the reproduction of capital and the enforced social death of Black people?
Read some history. Modern policing goes back to the establishment of the Metropolitan Police in London in 1829 by Sir Robert "Bobby" Peel, hence the British nickname "Bobbies" for the police. It had nothing to do with repression of Black people. His model of policing major cities was copied throughout the world, most of which had no Black populations.
