The arrests of the three other Minneapolis police officers connected to George Floyd's death and the upgraded charge against former officer Derek Chauvin is just the beginning for Floyd's family. Justice, for them, includes convictions.
"We have to have justice. They murdered him in broad daylight in front of everybody," Floyd's brother Philonise told CBS News correspondent Jeff Pegues. The charge against Chauvin, who pressed his knee into Floyd's neck while he was handcuffed and pleading for air, was upgraded to second-degree murder, while the other officers were charged with aiding and abetting murder.

Go for it.
When they can’t prove it, the case falls apart.
No double jeopardy.
Mass riots afterwards.
I’ll be charitable and presume that Floyd’s brother does not understand the different degrees of charge and the standards applied to each of them.
Sure... over charge him so that he gets off.
Like what started the Rodney King riots.
And Keith Ellison knows it....
Democrats hate Lynching until the love Lynching.
They worked together at a club and had some sort of pre-existing relationship.
First degree murder would be a very difficult case to prove, but there could very well be more here than meets the eye.
they way over charged already...the aiding and abetting charges are flat out comical...
Good, upgrade the charge to something that can’t possibly reach a verdict.
Trump will feel compelled, if no conviction(s), to do what George H.W. Bush did and charge them Federally, for the same action that the State charged him/them with.
Well, of course he does.
The genius must have slept at a Holiday Inn Express. Viola! Hes a lawyer.
Might be a bridge too far unless there is something to the suspicion that this had something to do with the cop and GF’s relationship to each other. The Five mentioned counterfeit money and the place they both work at.
Well you can form the ne cesary intent very quickly, but still this is getting ridi ulous.
Your right. I assume his brother does not know what 1st degree entails to get a conviction. 2nd degree in this case could be a stretch also but could be a prosecution strategy to plea down to 3rd degree which probably is the correct charge. But in a volatile case like this and the players involved who knows. We can only hope that justice will be served without further mayhem.
Laws mean whatever leftists want them to mean at that point in time.
Youre talking about idiots that want to defund the police and replace them with outreach counselors (eg political operatives)
AG says — I’ll raise that — we will try for him for zero-degree murder.
Anybody remember what happened with George Zimmerman? ;)
Floyd needs to talk to his family's legal mouthpiece. He said yesterday he understands why the second degree charges and not first degree.
