“Oh great. More unarmed moving targets moved into the
vicinity. Thatll help.”
Even the national guard in the states now have live ammo.
You’re a couple of days behind.
Sorry, I don’t know the translation.
AATW!
Oh then the rioting has stopped.
Yes, I guess you’re right. I am a couple of days behind.
I didn’t hear about the national guard taking out any
rioters either.
I must have missed quite bit.
Rifles with bayonets attached have a definite psychological value.
Last time in DC choppers with CS were used to disperse rioters .... prop wash is a beautiful thing.
Waste of time and resources. Get one crop duster and fill it full of Carolina reaper pepper juice and dust the protesters. They will think twice before rioting again!
Unfortunately the only M-1 Garands left in the Army inventory are in its museums. And none of today’s soldiers have trained on them. All are or should be familiar with M-16s and/or M-4s.
1/508
I guess the Shithooks can leak hydraulic fluid all over the “protesters” but the lawn darts aren’t accurate enough when they crash to do any good....
I generally agree with you—I don’t think sending in the military to D cities is a good idea. Let them learn how to solve the problems they have created. But DC is a special case. It is not a state and it is actually ruled by Congress and the President. There’s special legislation letting DC have a local mayor and PD but it is federal territory.
We were the 4th Brigade when we deployed to DC, I was in the 3/504. When the 3d Brigade redeployed from Vietnam, we were reflagged and we became the 1/508.
An earlier report said if the 82nd is deployed, they would be unarmed.
Any truth in that?
Better not be.
I agree with you on DC. It is not a state, it is federal property. I left that out.
I hope the president is not temped to go further than DC with military involvement.
Some of the Dems have refused National Guard help, they most definitely need to be left to their own devices. Yes, there will of course be collateral damage but there is no way for the good guys to mitigate that. IMO. It will just have to play out.
I think the President is doing the right thing.
The danger is that the riots provide the “cover” for the serious attempt at an armed coup or assassination of key Administration leaders.
You think impeachment was drastic. Think again.

Not so much shields, as human decoys and diversionary pawns to mask a planned deadly assault on our Government by the Deep State, Bidenbama, and AntiFa tag team.
I am reassured that Trump recognizes the true danger to our Country and is bringing the 82nd Airborne in.
It's unfortunate that many people in big Democrat cities will be hurt, businesses crushed, and prosperity destroyed, but voters in those places put the corrupt 'Rats in office and now they are paying the price.
I hear Governor Cuomo of New York is going to get on the TV today and talk cold turkey to the thugs. I received a preview of his remarks:
So get your frustrations out: smash a few more windows, rob a couple more department stores, and take your fill of Louis Vitton designer handbags.
But then, PLEASE... pretty PLEASE... return to your homes FOR YOUR SAFETY!
If your tenement building was utterly destroyed by rioters, that's not a problem: I can get you access to some fine Nursing Homes."
You have FRMail.
The 82nd? We keep em well fed down here in North Carolina. BBQ brisket and cornbread. Collards, anyone? Them brick throwers better not mess with em.
