From this day forward, @andpizza will be giving its employees paid time off for activism.

The custom-pie restaurant chain, based in Washington, D.C., employs about 700 people across 40 locations in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts. The new time-off policy will empower employees to participate in activism of their choosing starting this week and moving forward, the spokesperson said.

a lot of the companies (including mine) have over the past couple of years suddenly adopted charity time where they would give you days off for works of charity and this included political activism.
Big companies that are leftist run I could sort of understand - but everybody doing it? This isnt corporate largesse - these same companies only give maternity leave as approved by law and no more.
It smells like a tax break.
