This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

Holy Father,

We remember Your beautiful promise from the Word of truth---that You gave us Your Son, and that when we believe in Him, we choose life everlasting and not death. The words are familiar, Lord, but we sometimes gloss over the amazing meaning and hope that lies within them. With grateful hearts we thank You, Father, for without Jesus we would have no hope, and death and separation from You would be our only future. So great is Your love for us that You would spare us from a death sentence, Father. Thank You, Our Gracious and Merciful King.

Our hearts cry out to You today, Lord, because of the condition of our country. Will America ever be the same, Lord? Will we ever return to the center of Your will? Make haste to help us, Father. Whom have we in heaven but You? We are in a time of great turmoil and strife, and the devil has brought great darkness to the hearts of many. We have forsaken You. We have ignored Your Word and Your teachings. We have forsaken the Constitution of our nation. We can’t go on like this, Lord. Please let the voices of the Remnant cry out to You and seek Your will to be done in America. We need Your intervention and Your answers, Lord. None of our efforts will fix any of our messes if our hearts are not directed by You. Make haste, Lord. Our eyes are lifted up to You in hope. We confess that You are the strength of our hearts and our portion forever.

We ask that You give Your angels charge over our President, Lord, to keep him in all his ways. He can only succeed with Your wisdom, Your discernment, and Your strength. Save him from the hands of his enemies, both foreign and domestic. Let them be ashamed and confounded that desire his hurt. He has been accosted on every side, but You, Lord, will help him to continue to stand. May the prayers of Your people continue to rise up on his behalf.

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Your blessing and protection of Your people, Israel. We pray for peace and healing in America. Father, humbly we ask You to call our nation to repentance and help us to return to the center of Your Will. Teach us to do Your Will, for You are our God. Your Spirit is good and righteous altogether. Lead us into the land of uprightness, for the sake of Your Son, in Whose Name we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Your righteous one are filled with sorrow, for those who hate You Father, whose souls are moved by evil, stir up the serpents within the disordered souls of the sons and daughters of Adam and they are setting our land aflame. Dear Lord, open the minds and hearts of our young people to your message. Send them the spiritual gifts of Wisdom, Understanding, and Fear of the Lord. Strengthen them so they can withstand the terrible pull of the devil and their secular peers.

And, Lord, please punish those who harm the innocent. Now. In front of us all. As a lesson to those who are not yet so perverted that they can’t be saved. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen

We need to pray for PEACE, because “the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God” (James 1:20).

Pray for PERSPECTIVE, because “the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere” (James 3:17).

Pray for PATIENCE, because of God’s “kindness and forbearance and patience” toward us all (Romans 2:4). And pray for an OUTPOURING of His wisdom and direction for our leaders and officials who are dealing with this crisis. Ask God to change hearts and heal this divide in our nation.

Help us, guide us, restore us, we pray in the name of Jesus.
