— A police officer shot and killed a woman outside of City Hall on Friday afternoon after she charged at the officer with a butcher knife, Temple Terrace Police Chief Kenneth Albano said in a news conference.
Albano said the woman, identified as 21-year-old Heba Momtaz Alazhari, charged at the uniformed police officer for “unknown reasons” after she had requested assistance.
A recording of the incident shows the woman sitting outside of City Hall, waiting for the officer to approach her. Once he was within about five feet of her, she can be seen pulling out the knife.

“Had no alternative but to shoot,” Albano said of the officer, who was not named.
The woman was shot about 1:15 p.m. and was transported to a local hospital, where she died. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the attack.
The officer has not been placed on administrative leave yet, Albano said, but it is the department’s procedure to do so.
The Temple Terrace Police Department will work with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the incident, Albano said.
The video released by police did not have sound. Albano said he was close by, however, and heard the officer shouting at the woman to "drop the knife, drop the knife” multiple times.
“We want it to be clear that this was unprovoked,” Albano said.
My theory is that she was sexually attracted to police officers, and because she held that attraction as a sin, she decided to go jihad on the first man in blue she met after attending her local Imam.
