Mike Freeman, county attorney for Hennepin County, condemned the actions of white cop Derek Chauvin as 'horrific and terrible' But he added there was 'other evidence that does not support a criminal charge' Prosecutors must decide if the cop used force deemed 'excessive' when he knelt on George Floyd's neck for eight minutes until he passed out and later died Freeman warned the investigation 'can't be rushed' He voiced fears of a repeat of the Freddie Gray case in Baltimore in 2015 where all charges were dropped against cops involved in the black man's death Outrage is building as still no arrests have been made over Floyd's death with protests entering their third day in Minneapolis

You’re deflecting and arguing when you need not. Measure twice, cut once. This applies to both carpentry and prosecution.

Sorry, we are talking about this specific incident, not PD Live TV Show.
At the point the officer HAD control of the suspect. The man was saying
he could not breath. Why not let up the pressure then and put him in
the back of a patrol car? If he begins to fight again, then take control again.
If the suspect truly could not breath, he would not have the energy put up a fight to get him in the back of a patrol car.

I’m certain there will be more backstory to this man’s arrest.
And I’m certain the officers will put up a good defense, if they are charged.
And rightfully so. But whatever happened before is a side story.
That kind of excessive force was clearly unnecessary.
Just let up the pressure and put him in the back of a patrol car. Done!

Its more like 1 out of 5 and there’s all kinds of grey areas of bad.

And I'd expect the majority of the other 4 will have the backs of the bad ones. I'd bet it was a lot worse, both in terms of bad behavior, and good cops willingly covering up for it, before the days of video evidence.

Yes. An honest trial and acquittal should allow the acquitted to get his life and reputation back.

I wish we lived in that world...

No. I weigh 230lbs.
I was offering another member the opportunity to let me put my full weight
on one of his main blood arteries for 8 minutes and see what happens.
He still won’t take me up on it. I wonder why?

Nobody knows what happened once he was in the ambulance.

My guess is that the medics in the ambulance knew he was DEAD already but had to bring him to the hospital so a Medical Doctor could officially pronounce him dead.

How the autopsy results are INTERPRETED will be the interesting aspect in all of this.

Hell.. they may even claim that he died of a massive heart attack while on the ground and that the knee to his neck had little to do with it.

If they set out to PROTECT the officers there is no telling what the autopsy will claim regarding how it's INTERPRETED.

You can bet if it doesn't make sense to the family of the deceased their lawyer will have a 2nd or even third autopsy performed for use in court later.

Let's see if the Minneapolis City Government attempts to circle the wagons and sell a far-fetched version of how he died in order to prevent a MASSIVE monetary lawsuit for wrongful death.

Why would they do THAT? It's taxpayer money. There's an endless supply of it and no more difficult to collect than picking it off the money tree.

Yes it's a TV show but it's also live, unedited.

It also shows how otherwise saints in handcuffs act and act out.

I didn't see the specific video, don't care to, but there was a question about the time he was in cuffs. They sometimes keep them in cuffs while they do investigations on if it's the right person, the alleged crime etc.

Of course if you're an eye witness or you've seen unedited video you can be judge and jury.

According to Dr Clarissa Cole*, fully half the people who she tested and she failed on the psych exam were hired anyway.

Hear her say this in her own words, if you dare:

Clarissa Cole on After Hours AM April 17, 2019

Holy good lord. Man that was one creepy radio show. **start listening at about 1:17:00

Yeah.

Hiring known psychopaths is a 'normal' procedure that simply must be halted.

I think the best way to do it is to hold the people who do it fully accountable for any harm the psychopath they hired* does under color of law.

* Violating department policy/state laws to hire someone who failed their exam strips the hiring manager of sovereign immunity.

Agree. No comparison to the Maryland case.

Thank God there was an alert citizen
(Miss Frazier) who caught this hideous coldblooded murder on tape!

Yes he was, poor man.

He had been completely subdued. Four cops were standing over him . He was unarmed. He was helpless.

The oriental cop is just as guilty as the Klan cop. He held people back from assisting Floyd, and perhaps saving his life. Minneapolis PD is rotten to the core.

Or at the very least I would’ve got up and yelled right in his face to get the hell off the guys neck

It’s possible the stress from the extended submission moves exacerbated another issue: drugs, heart, asthma, etc. It may very well be there is not a single issue (choked to death) that lead to his demise.

There was a similar incident that n Detroit about 25 years ago. A crachead named Malice Green got pulled over by Detroit cops for a traffic violation.

His passenger ran and was chased on foot by one cop and arrested without incident.

Green began to fight the other officer in the car including reaching for the cops gun. The cop, Larry Nevers smacked Green on the hands and head a few times with a 4 cell Maglite.

Green died. The commie mayor that day called the cops murderers. It was all over for them by that point. Protests, kangaroo court, political convictions etc.

The autopsy report showing that Green’s heart exploded from the exertion due to a conditioned exacerbated by chronic drug abuse was ignored.

Why would they do THAT?

Huge amounts that are GIVEN AWAY unnecessarily simply means LESS for THEM to spend and steal.

In case you've forgotten... once they've collected it from the taxpayers IT BECOMES THEIR MONEY!
