Minneapolis cops in riot gear last night fired rubber bullets and tear gas at thousands of defiant protesters who took to the streets to demand justice for George Floyd, the black man who died after a white officer was filmed kneeling on his neck during his arrest.
Demonstrators carrying placards reading 'I can't breathe' and 'Justice 4 Floyd' surrounded a police precinct Tuesday night after the disturbing video of 46-year-old Floyd begging the cop to stop before falling unconscious was shared online.

No, doesn’t give you the right to destroy public property, but if you think what the cops did was okay, you are indeed part of the problem.

You will find folks here that will defend the police, regardless. And you will find folks who will criticize the police, regardless.
But if you watch the video, it is clear that the cops murdered the man. Yes, he was resisting. A longer version of the video shows that. But once they had him under control, they murdered him. (Or committed manslaughter, if you are legal stickler).
I do not condone destruction of public property. They have the right to PEACEABLY assemble. However, their anger is justified. Where is the justice? These cops murdered a man. They were simply fired. That’s it?!
Probably, and the fact that there are fools here trying to defend the cops and justify their actions, will help those same forces in the US grow.
This is NOT a case of media spin, there is no grey area here, this was WRONG, on every level.
Cops were 100% WRONG here.. those trying to justify or excuse their actions need to really really really rethink their world views.
#BLM was, IMHO, a creation of the Obama administration. He used them as a quintessentially leftist political strike force. Their organizers are on record having visited the White House and DOJ many dozens of times.
Isn’t it odd that despite all the Leftist hatred for Trump, there have been no “Fergusons” or “Baltimores” or “Oakland-style” protests for supposed incidents of police brutality?
It appears from the picture that a police car IS being vandalized but it also appears that it’s in a police parking lot. Inference being that no one was inside it at the time. As far as I heard no police were hurt.
