In the end, it is the face mask that is the clearest symbol of America’s divide

The mask is essentially useless: The mask is not an adequate defense against the COVID-19 virus... The virus checks in at somewhere between 0.06 and 0.14 microns, meaning its too small for any commercially available mask to effectively filter it out. The pores on an N95 mask, which are the best masks youre reasonably going to find, and the vast, vast majority of you are not going to have N95 masks but rather cloth masks, which perform far less well, are 0.3 microns
...
Staten Island a mob of karens forced a woman from a store for not wearing a mask and they were not at all polite about it; they were vicious. This is all the end result of the wholly unnecessary lockdown of the American economy which was based on fallacious science from the outset. It is the distillation of the cultural divide. We are a nation split between the fearful, those easily frightened by anything they read in the mainstream media, and the not-by-nature fearful who are justifiably suspicious of the nonsense spewed forth by the mainstream media
. ..
a carefully-constructed hoax, a treasonous attempt to overthrow a duly elected President in order to cover up their many crimes .
...
Heroes of the left, Drs. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx have been wrong, wrong, wrong. Long ago the great Thomas Sowell wrote that It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.
The lockdown was never needed. The hospitals were never overrun, the mortality rate has been a fraction of what the scientists predicted. The data has all been corrupted.
...
two types of people .. karens and sharons.

Somebody decided that "Sharon" was the opposite of "Karen."
Other people decided that "Sharon" or "Susan" or "Carol" or "Janet" was similar to "Karen" - an annoying co-worker or neighbor. These are all Boomer names, so they are associated with older women.
Our authoress has decided that face masks are some sort of symbol of America's divisions.
I think we're all just trying to survive and get through this and the sooner it's over the better.

This news is a month old, however, little attention was ever paid to it.

Wear Your Face Mask And Savor Your CO2 Breathwww.Technocracy.news | April 25, 2020 | Judy Mikovits, PhD, Top U.S. Virologist, and Robyn Openshaw
This is truly a "duh" moment.
When a healthy person wears a face mask, they continuously re-rebreathe a portion of the CO2 that comes out of their lungs.
Of course, there are many different types of masks that vary in such CO2 concentration, but the principal remains the same.
Breathing air that is too rich in CO2 has its own negative health effects !
Humans breathe in air that is approximately 20.95% oxygen, 78.09% nitrogen, 0.93% argon, and 0.04% (400 ppm) of carbon dioxide.
Upon exhaling your breath contains approximately 3.8% CO2.
Now, people are not dropping dead because they breathe higher-than-normal concentrations of CO2.
How many of you survived as kids hiding under the covers with a flashlight after bedtime ? (Likely, all of you!)
When CO2 enters the lung, is dissolves in water, forming carbonic acid which makes the blood more acidic, lowering blood pH.
At the same time, excessive CO2 concentrations leaves less oxygen to be absorbed.
Other aspects of body chemistry are affected as well.
When wearing face masks,
especially for an extended period or during higher-than-normal physical activity,
some people will experience symptoms like
rapid breathing,
rapid heart rate,
dizziness,
muscular weakness,
emotional upsets
and fatigue.
Of course, it is up to each person to decide what is good for their own health.
This writer has already decided to ditch the mask for fresh air.

I certainly hope you people not wearing masks are staying 6 feet away from us. The least you can do.

"The virus checks in at somewhere between 0.06 and 0.14 microns, meaning its too small for any commercially available mask to effectively filter it out" The mask stops droplets, not virus particles.
...gleefully keeping most of California's businesses shuttered despite that fact that the deaths there have been only .0001% of the California population
Deaths in California: 0.015% of the population. Writers should be required to understand percentages or be banned from writing about them.
However her point is still valid, there's not been much death except in s-holes like NYC, Detroit, New Orleans, etc. The actual risk is very low. In 2009 we had over 1000 children dead from swine flu without a peep from the media. If that were the case this time the newspapers would have pictures of the dead children on the front page every day. The virus is a stupid excuse for tyranny. That said, masks actually do work. That is clear from the incidents like the church choir and beauty parlor.

Ive heard the micron measurements over and over. I know a stupid mask doesnt filter out Covid virus, but I do think it limits the droplets of our breath from traveling too far. It reduces the viral load. You are correct. There is no doubt that they help in certain situations. The arguments against masks are reasonable too, but the arguments for them are factual.

Attend to cleanliness with regard to the aftermath of eliminating used food.

So, when do you believe you will stop wearing a mask?
One of these days; a few thousand Richard Dreyfuss types are going to remove their masks...

When I see our state numbers finally dropping instead of rising. As it stands, Arizona is (correctly or incorrectly) looking at another 1000 deaths, give or take.
CHOICE
killed about 3 thousand today.
What other cause of death beats that?

It was her opinion that the people behind the policies of stay at home are trying to stretch this pandemic out for as long as possible.
