Am I the only FReeper who has been deluged with email spam from GOP leaders?
About a week ago I started getting a dozen or so emails every day from Donald Trump, Eric Trump, Jim Jordan, Lyndsay Graham, et al.
At first I thought the GOP operatives had gotten a hold of my email address, but upon checking I see the emails are all spam.
Has the deep state launched a spam attack on people for the purpose of irritating them with emails from GOP leadership?
I have had to hit unsubscribe a zillion times.
You mean the “Last Chance” and “We tried to warn you” spam? I got a ton of them.
Stupid jerks, we tried to warn them first, but they wouldn’t listen. They want our cash, not our opinions...
I get a LOT of them. I ignore them. If I’m going to make a contribution it will be directly to the campaign of the person I support.
If you’ve contributed to someone, they likely shared your email with other GOP candidates or the Trump campaign.
I receive at least 20 messages a day from various candidates and leadership funds. I do donate money, so I am not surprised that I receive them. I find it ironic that I receive the most solicitations from folks I didn’t give money to who are Republicans (McSally and Sue Collins) who seem to distance themselves from Trump at every opportunity.
If you have ever given money to the Trump Campaign or related organization, you will get deluged.
Even it’s only $20 they overwhelm you with additional requests for money....
I read an article on this the other day which was done by a liberal reporter conducting an experiment on the social media efforts by the Trump and Biden campaigns.
The basic conclusion is the Trump campaign is off the charts compared to Biden and all the emails, texts, etc. are all part of it...
Here is another site sending these emails supposedly from GOP leaders
https://domainwat.ch/site/makingagreateramerica.com
I get em on phone and email
You can reply STOP if you like
They call it fundraising.
Yes, they are all using as many lists as possible to target potential conservative voters.
I've unsubscribed from dozens of lists.
“””If you have ever given money to the Trump Campaign or related organization, you will get deluged.”””
Over the years I have been diligent to never use my personal email account when it comes to responding to some politicians survey.
My Yahoo email account is used for that purpose and yes I get hundreds of emails from politicians in that yahoo email account.
Yeah, I get them all the time and I’m okay with it. Every one is apocalyptic and asking for money, so I just send the Junk. I’ll be voting for the conservative ones anyway.
I would contribute directly to Trump however I
find the RNC apparently shares the revenues.
I don’t want to contribute to the RNC which
supports RINOs.
+1
Used to give a few hundred per month to the Trump campaign. Stopped after he turned pro-Indian H1B scab after his famous India trip and deals with Modi. Still waiting on his 2016 campaign promise to remove to H1B scabs from the US.
If he bans the Indian H1B scabs, you bet I will be giving to his campaign again.
I get a few a day. I’ve never contributed anything so I get lots of letters trying to shame me along with the others congratulating me on being their best supporter. I do contribute to Free Republic though.
Pres. Trump has reduced H1B visas. He never said he would remove all H1B workers. What deal with Modi?
It’s SOP to try to get donations - I have it all going to my SPAM folder and do my donating at my own schedule,
The flip side would be no pleas for funds and our side tends to be stingy as hell - and prone to whining when reality rears it’s inconvenient head.
I get them, too. Plus text messages on my cell phone all day long.
