Interviewed by Joy Reid today, Charlamagne -- whose actual name is Lenard McKelvey -- began by saying "I know" that the Democrat party takes black voters for granted. As such, he said that he doesn't really care about the "lip service," while allowing that Biden's apology for his "you ain't black" gaffe was "cool, but the best apology is actually a black agenda."
But what is apparently of real interest to Charlamagne is Biden's position on reparations:
"In his black agenda of Lift Every Voice, he committed to studying reparations. And I just wanted to ask him, what does reparations for black people look like to him? And what is he prepared to do based on that study?"

Democrats are the party of slavery. IF reparations only come from them I am OK with it.
BUT if all tax payers are forced to pay reparations, then I am against it.

I suppose once we pay reparations we can then abolish all Affirmative Action programs and minority entitlements going forward.

Affirmative Action was your reparations. Now get over it and move on.
Repatriations have been paid, from 600,000 dead to free slaves, to the establishment of a nation to repatriate those displaced, to trillion$ redistributed to any downtrodden, to the end of institutionalized racism.
Debt paid, better than any comparable debt ever has been, and as best as real world human interaction allows.

I wish this Charlemagne dude had asked Biden about reparations. It would be good to see Biden on the record, is he for, or against, reparations for slavery.
It is hard to fathom, that 56 years after the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 55 years after the Voting Rights Act, 52 years after the Fair Housing Act, and 50+ years of policies and laws implemented across the country to push affirmative action, that people are pushing reparations for slavery.
Of course I’m not liberal enough to understand, I’m sure. But I am flummoxed, that anyone would bring that up, considering how much our country has done in recent decades to erase any vestiges of legalized discrimination in this country.
Sorry Buster but we gave an average of 77 combat dead a day for four years so there was you reparations. Cover up for Joey Fingers and as a direct decedent of Charlemagne’s I ask you to use your real not his.
