Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions publicly called out President Trump on Twitter late Friday for continuing to whine about his decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation.
...
Look, I know your anger, but recusal was required by law, Sessions wrote. I did my duty & you're damn fortunate I did. It protected the rule of law & resulted in your exoneration. Your personal feelings don't dictate who Alabama picks as their senator, the people of Alabama do.

“”””” Your personal feelings don’t dictate who Alabama picks as their senator, the people of Alabama do.””””””””””
And the people of Alabama don’t want an old deep state uniparty pussy. Please go hang out at the seement pond with Granny and stay out of politics.
Stopped what? The claim was to investigate the Trump campaign.. if this were Eric the Red Holder, would you accept him leading an investigation And or shutting down an investigation into the Obama campaign?
***********
Sessions was only a supporter of the campaign, not a campaign official who could have been charged for violating a campaign law. What you are really arguing is that Sessions was biased because he was a Republican who would have been investigating fellow Republicans. But bias can run both ways. Sorry, but there’s no law that says that only Democrats can investigate Republicans.
Sessions is wrong on this issue...
IMHO...Sessions was sent in BY the never-Trumper DC Uni-Party to attempt to control the new rogue White House.
the Trump crowd figgered it out as soon as Sessions recused allowing the Uni-Party free reign the next 2 years.
The DC Uni-Party knew Trump was sent to dismantle DC as we all know it and their job has been to impeded that process as much as possible. It is still on-going-and our PDJT needs massive numbers in the House and Senate to overcome and prevail after November. Sessions, if elected , will recuse from the process of dismantling DC-while the remaining DC Uni-Party members will continue to obstruct Trumps electoral mandate.
The President obviously sees Tuberville as a preferential ally in that process in his next administration.
Thats good enough for me.
Humm m m m m m ......so why would Sessions think going after Trump would accomplish anything at all? Is he just looking for media attention knowing the media would jump on this?
And the guy never said a word to Trump before recusing himself.
Why?
I think they had something on Sessions so he sneakily recused himself and allowed that mess to go on.
Jeff Sessions is nowhere near a hero of any kind.
NEVER TRUST THE ALABAMA WEASEL! He damn near destroyed the greatest POTUS in our lifetime!
The first damn thing I have seen him do in years.
Says it all. First, it was a bunch of people that were in on the coup who wrote the brief that he had to recuse himself. He should have gotten other opinions, especially because the entire thing was a lie. Most important, if Sessions had just started to investigate the actual wrongdoings and vigorously prosecute democrats, he would have known.
No Jeff, you took tainted advice and never got off your ass to pursue the criminals.
Trump hates this azzhole Sessions and doesn’t want him anywhere near him again. That’s all I need to know to vote for Tuberville.
A few do, in ever dwindling numbers. I sense a sea change in the force.
They do however, to a man, think you're a retard.
Tonight at 7:35pm (May 1, 2018(, the Attorney General strode into a high-end Washington restaurant to dine with his deputy Rod Rosenstein and the Solicitor General Noel Francisco.
The symbolism was unmistakable: the three top ranking officials in the Justice Department appearing together in a show of solidarity on the same day Trump is publicly and privately raging about Sessions
FUJS
“Sessions was sent in BY the never-Trumper DC Uni-Party to attempt to control the new ‘rogue’ White House. The Trump crowd figgered it out as soon as Sessions ‘recused’ allowing the Uni-Party free reign the next 2 years.”
I think that about covers it.
“a show of solidarity on the same day Trump is publicly and privately raging about Sessions”
The SAME DAY?!? Sessions is a bigger traitor-asshole than I thought he was five minutes ago. And he criticizes Trump over his “anger”? That’s a little like an abusive man beating his wife, and then blaming her.
The mouse squeaks.
“Trust Sessions, The Silent Assassin.” /s
LOL!
Childish name calling....avoid factual reality - kinda like a leftist.
Some things never change.
I still say he should have resigned when he recused. He left Trump open for a broadside. I used to like Sessions. He was my senator. But his AG behavior made me understand he is just a run-of-the-mill swamp creature.
