It’ll be at least 6 weeks before we open from what he said this afternoon. Some of them will be up there shuffling things around but there’s nothing I can do until they straighten up the area where they’ve decided my work space will be.
So I wait.

6 weeks! Summer will be practically over then! Is it the stupid social distancing thingy that is holding them up? Well...don’t want anyone to get sick, so it is what it is, I guess.

I saw some rain drops on the airport cam housing last night but it was obvious there wasn’t much rain there. The radar hasn’t looked promising either. :-( You need some of our rain and I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out how to send it up there. LOL

No, it’s just there’s a lot to do but they can’t get up there every weekend. The head guy won’t let anyone do stuff unless he’s there and he can’t always be there.
One of the guys on the Board wants to open Monday but that idea got shot down.

A very pleasant good Saturday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks to the Canteen DJ's for posting the music for the enjoyment of the troops and their families.

Glad you got through the day alright. Mighty ugly weather over that way, no doubt!
TX got it hard with Bowie catching the brunt. I’ve been “riding around” the town most of the night with storm chasers as they survey the damage. I’m really glad y’all didn’t get anything like that. It looks like you and Gizmo had a beautiful day for your outing.

Yes we did. The storms are South of us right now. We're still hearing thunder though and I think Gizmo wants to stay in the house for right now.

Sooner pr later he's going to have to go to the bathroom though. I'll wait until it gets light.

Also I was just checking the PSO Outage tracker and there are some customers around Ryan and Terral without power right now.

Yes, you’re in the clear as far as storms go though being able to hear any thunder is going to keep poor Gizmo nervous. Maybe it’ll quiet down before daybreak so he won’t have to wait so long for his morning constitutional.

Not surprised there are power outages. There were several chasers all around that area - a couple close to Ryan - and it was a bit wild this afternoon.

We had some storms in the morning and early evening but nothing as intense as over there. More storms in AR now headed this way so I reckon it’ll be another stormy day here later.

Might want to do all you can to get Gizmo to go outside for “business”. I see a batch of storms blew up west of you and are heading east. Good luck!
