Tyrannical Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order that banned regular Michiganders from traveling between residences in the state. Whitmer banned travel to summer homes.
Whitmer extended the ban on traveling to summer homes thru April 30th. The ban was lifted but Governor Whitmer begged Michiganders not to travel up north.
Joe Biden is looking at Gretchen Whitmer as his possible running mate!
Evidently the rules do not apply to the elites like Gretchen Whitmer or her family.

If so, did Heil Whitmer just open herself up to personal lawsuits for using the state to fine (and threaten to fine) business owners who were also operating contrary to such an executive order?
Seeing she's the governor and has state police protection, are the state police not on the hook as well since they knew she was in violation of her own orders?

Well...yeah. Then there’s that.
Everyone should apply for a reduction in tax assessments for the property they cannot use. Same goes for businesses.

We know of a few retired couples, whose parents owned summer cabins/winter homes and/or they and siblings owned these homes.
They were made to feel very uncomfortable when they went to these vacation homes in March by the locales.
One family between the siblings own 3 homes in this category. They made a big deal of cutting their April property tax bills to eliminate what was due from then until December. They are back to being welcomed. One couple has since been in their family home since 1 May with no problems.
The other area locals backed down when 0 property taxes were paid. The families wrote unsigned and undated checks for their properties.
Time for Wisconsin to get back the UP which was given to Michigan after the battle of Toledo.
