Kevin Gough, a lawyer for Mr. Bryan, didnt immediately respond to a request for comment. In an interview last week, he said Mr. Bryan had no role or involvement in that shooting. He has committed no crime. He is a witness.
Mr. Arberys family and civil-rights activists have pressed for weeks for authorities to charge Mr. Bryan, arguing he wasnt simply a witness but was involved in the young mans killing.
In an April letter to the Glynn County Police Department, George Barnhill, the district attorney in Waycross who oversaw the case for a period before recusing himself, wrote that Mr. Bryan was in hot pursuit of Mr. Arbery along with the McMichaels in the moments leading up to the shooting. Mr. Bryan is also named as a witness in a police report.
On May 7, the GBI arrested the McMichaels and charged them with murder and aggravated assault. The agency said it executed a search warrant at the McMichaels home on Tuesday. Lawyers for both men have said they arent guilty and have been subject to a rush to judgment.

Aggressive and belligerent....watch the videos....
Ok unless they planned to shoot this guy when they went to stop him, it’s hard to see how the photographer could be charged with murder. I guess a felony murder type charge.
You see how all you folks who want them to use some technical “citizens arrest” defense, but instead someone else gets hit with a technical murder charge.
Forgive me but I could be a hell of a lot more aggressive to civilians who stop me with a shotgun, than I would be to a uniformed officer.
That well may be true. Where are the records of him resisting arrest? with or without violence. I don’t recall seeing them.
Staged would mean it was planned in advance. A conspiracy.
How was this a staged conspiracy?
I didnt say it was a conspiracy Ace you better get a grip. Youre either stupid or pushing and agenda. I said gives the appearance. Wake up.
Hmmm, you come off really angry. I just asked you a simple legitimate question and ya come off like I rang your bell. I would suggest you're the one who needs to get a grip.
You stated this being staged was "hard to miss", clearly implying or suggesting it was obviously, "Staged". No?
So it being "Hard to miss", how do ya think this caper was, "Staged"?
>>the district attorney in Waycross who oversaw the case for a period before recusing himself, wrote that Mr. Bryan was in hot pursuit of Mr. Arbery
That’s a fast jogger if he can outrun a truck
Yeah, but now they got real serious business.
" 'A good kid': Ahmaud Arbery remembered as 'humble guy' with plans to become an electrician"
He was just one jog away from turning his life around.
What video?I watched the one that ended with his murder. The Law says that the shooter was responsible for what transpired there. Or the shooter will answer for what transpired in a Court of Law. No mention is made of the conduct of the victim.
All three are likely guilty, will be found guilty, and should be executed. Doesn’t matter the excuses, the racism for their defense or whatever, what they did was wrong. Glad they are now arrested, time for justice to be served.
Politics is pushing this “murder” charge. Methinks they just want to put pressure on the cameraman.
Is that transcript embellished by Adam Schiff?
...and everyone wants to attack the victim as if this is all their fault without looking that these three murderers. Failed former cop, his idiot son, and their videographer tag-a-long. As some described, just “Good Ole Boys”. No, just murderers with likely racist intent.
At least two of the three musketeers will be moving to a new neighborhood. Possibility all three. The GBI builds good cases.
You would run 20 feet towards someone with a shotgun rather than 20+ feet away?
Three stooges find a gun IMHO
He was studying up on how to become an electrician by repeatedly visiting this construction site?
The cameraman is only a murderer if you believe a conspiracy theory that he went out to make a snuff film.
This case is going to make people hide and cower when something is happening in their neighborhoods.
Just call the cops. When seconds count, theyre only minutes away.
That’s a false choice. Nobody would be dead or facing hard time if idiot #1 hadn’t brought the shot gun and shot idiot #2 dead. No sane person is going “hide and cower” because of what these two morons did.
He was aggressive around uniformed police. Hard to imagine he was more cooperative around others
All the more reason not bring a shot gun to the party.
