And as for your arresting Officer scenario, the law gives a police Officer much more leeway than a private Citizen when it comes to the use of deadly force.

And the guy with the shotgun doesn’t shoot at the first charge. the first discharge is during the struggle and doesn’t even appear to hit the target, so your claim of premeditated sounds bogus. Manslaughter could easily be the charge premeditated murder is going to be harder to prove.

I'm also not well versed in GA criminal law, so I wonder if (if) any of the shots were found to be accidental, does that equal murder for the son originally holding the shotgun, murder for the father watching from the bed of the pickup and murder for the other guy driving behind filming?

Nice to know that you have insight in to their intent. Chances are just as good that had it transpired with a white criminal that behaved the same way, it would have turned out exactly like it did with the black criminal. And, he had a criminal record, so yes he was a criminal, and video evidence of past interaction with police shows that he acted like a thug, to boot.
So, let's not pretend that he was "just a jogger" and accuse the killers with 'racist intent", just to show how enlightened we are, please.
