You would run 20 feet towards someone with a shotgun rather than 20+ feet away?
The argument from some is the decedent was scared and that is why he ran towards the armed neighbor and literally physically attacked him. That seems extremely unlikely, from my perspective.
The other argument seems to be he was defending himself by running towards an armed neighbor and literally physically attacked him. I’m not buying that “defense” argument either.
I know I can kill you at 20 feet easy with my shotgun and at 30 feet.

The fact is he closed the 20 feet, grabbed the shotgun and simply failed to wrest control of it.
