Attorney General Bill Barr said Monday he does not expect U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review into the origins of the Russia probe will lead to a “criminal investigation” of either former President Barack Obama or former Vice President Joe Biden -- while noting that their concern of “potential criminality” in the conduct of that probe is “focused on others.”
Barr, during a press conference otherwise focused on the December 2019 shooting at Naval Air Station Pensacola, spoke at length about the Durham investigation. He said he has a “general idea” of how the investigation is going and confirmed that “some aspects are being investigated as potential crimes.”
Barr did say, however, that “not every abuse of power, no matter how outrageous, is necessarily a federal crime.”
“As for President Obama and Vice President Biden, whatever their level of involvement based on what I know, I don’t expect Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man,” Barr said. “Our concern of potential criminality is focused on others.”

That, and there is no point to Barr entertaining the notion of an investigation into Biden and Obama until lower level people are indicted, start talking, and the great unbrained in our society realize there is no way the two of them could not be involved.
Biden will pass away, literally.
If the only thing that happens to Obama is that he loses his reputation and has to spend his remaining days in some awful 3rd world sh*thole that does not have an extradition treaty for fear that an investigation of him will be opened, so be it.
Everyone will now blame Obama and Biden.

That is pretty much what Barr said. People need to listen to him directly before they comment based on emotion, spin from whatever media outlet prints it, etc.

He called it all a HOAX - in no uncertain terms.
He GUTTED the actions of the DOJ and the Special Counsel investigation.
He said there is an ongoing criminal investigation.
He pretty much said he is determined to break the cycle of a dual system of justice.
These were pretty strong comments. Will they satisfy those who had some fantasy that Obama and Biden would be charged with crimes? No.
Based on his very direct comments, it will be difficult to accuse him of being a partisan and that is important. Anything less would be the typical left vs right.
He pretty much said the whole thing was BS. History will be the judge of Obama/Biden and if you listen to his comments it is pretty clear he says what many of us have been screaming for years - there was a dual system of justice based on partisan goals.
I don’t see a lot of wiggle room for the media (already on thin ice with this farce) to spin his comments.
That’s all we need in the President’s second term....Obama and all his lies. No thanks....Just go away.
Make the enemy feel you are weak, when you have a strong hand. What is Barr going to say right now? Of course, he’ll play it down. That doesn’t mean things won’t change. Is Brennan going to sit there and take all the blame? Barr is telling the people that are in trouble - your superiors are safe - unless you know something.

Pretty much. For 325 million people in the US (minus 2), ordering the droning a US citizen in some foreign land would and should be be murder.
For the president and VP, not so much. They couldn't defend the country. I think the Supreme Court would take that position. The remedy would be impeachment, and for Obama and Biden, that horse left the barn 3 1/2 year ago.
Their minions are another matter. "I was only following orders" has been out as a defense since 1945.

This is as expected as it’s severely problematic so not a real surprise.
But the “Trusty the Plan” types will see many explody heads among them.
As if more proof is needed that barr is indeed a deep state supporter.
The real Mafia would be envious of the level of corruption and abuse of the system that goes on in DC.
