Nassau County Executive Laura Curran on Friday was pleased to announce that tennis courts have reopened in parts of Long Island, with certain restrictions.
She made the announcement at Eisenhower Park, where tennis players were already taking to some courts.
Curran, however, noted that residents looking to hit the courts will have to follow a few rules.
Curran said. Every player, unless theyre from the same household, has to bring their own tennis balls.
"You can kick their balls, but you can't touch them," Nassau County Executive Laura Curran announced with a serious urgency.

Nobody is allowed to kick my balls - and I’m very selective as to whom I will allow to touch them. :D
Wear a cup.
I guess she doesnt play tennis.
The balls have a number already, a single digit. Its not difficult.
New balls please!
I’m a tennis player and I have never had my balls kicked. I
have had my a$$ kicked many times though.
I my case I need a tumbler.
What fun is tennis if you can’t....well,never mind!
If the GOP can’t successfully ridicule the Democrats into the dustbin of history after this event, there’s no saving them.
If you are going to ‘obey the rules to the hilt’
HOW
are you supposed to return a serve if you don’t touch the ball?
They should spell out what they mean
I guess they forgot about that in baseball.
Will it be ‘against the law’ to hit a batter with a pitch?
How will the ump call strikes when he is 12’ from home plate?
He will need a ‘long neck’ to lean over the catcher.
Also if the pitcher throw the ball to the catcher does the catcher (or fielder) have to throw the ball out once it has been touched with the bare hand OR will they require them to wear gloves on both hands?
Durn fools only half explain what they want done.
Though it is a good chance to see how an auto ball/strike counter would work since the home plate ump will ‘have’ to keep his distance...
If the players can’t shower at the park will they be forced to wear DEPENDS so they don’t have to use the facilities?
Could get ‘tricky’ if one has to take a dump... will probably get a freer lane to the next base though.
As far as tennis goes, it was considered the sign of a “pro” if you could scoop the ball with the edge of your racket and flip it back to your opponent or up to your hand .

Earlier you said you couldnt say if. Now youre saying it. Shows how fast this stuff normalizes.
Billy Crystal in Analyze That: “Oh, what a day this has been for my balls.”
Movie What’s Up Doc with Ryan O’Neal in the back seat of the moving taxi holding a suitcase with his rare examples of stones to connect with his theory of musicology.
Taxi hits a bad bump.
“Are you okay back there?” cabbie asks.
“Yes but I just hope my igneous rocks are still okay.”
Cabbie: “Yeah, I know just what you mean. I really hate it if my igneous rocks are even touched.”
I was being overly facetious and absurd.
Of course. I was just boasting of my prowess from 50 years ago. Wait, that shows how old and decrepit I am. dang.
