Over 86,500 people have reportedly died in the United States from the Coronavirus, and the fear generated by those deaths is driving the public policy debate. But that number is a dramatic overcount. Our metrics include deaths that have nothing to do with the virus.

Not surprised if the actual number is less than half that
Good when a Freeper like Dr Lott gets into something like this, we will begin to see the real data.
bttt
Please stop this Bull***!!!
If a patient has a deadly communicable disease it is more expensive to treat them! Look at the excess mortality and STFU
Ping
CDC Provisional Numbers
...after death certificate evaluations ( considerably lower )
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm
How much does it cost to treat them on average?
We are also over stating the seriousness of this flu.
END LOCKDOWNS IMMEDIATELY.
I wrote to the majority whip in my legislature and requested they strip these dumble governors of their emergency powers. I suggested that emergencies lasting more than 5 days have to be approved by the legislature. [The 5 days is just a starting number]
They claim they are doing this because of the science. The science has been proven over and over to be WRONG.
Back the hell off.
This is ridiculous.
.
Is it true that if doctors/hospitals make the Wuhan Flu the ‘cause’ they get 15% more money from what they charge the government (and perhaps insurance companies) ????
THAT would be a major incentive and you probably wont find any democrats interested in discovering/exposing the padding of the China Flue ‘cause’ statistic.
.
In Europe they use overall mortality figures from civil records to check against those reported through the medical system. That is, there is a seasonal normal range of overall deaths, so excess deaths can be identified fairly accurately.
So far the European death count corresponds very accurately to that being medically reported, after correcting various errors from failing to include deaths in non-hospital ateas like nursing homes. This was used to correct for deaths being reported in nursing homes in Italy for instance.
Europe tends to have civil records that update quickly and accurately. The US however does not.
If it is interesting to anyone, my own cousin in New York “died of COVID-19,” though she was not tested and had a history of heart illness and diabetes. All the MDs in my family have gone along with it.
The narrative is Trump Death Clock.
Adding together the COVID deaths and the COVID+pneumonia deaths totals 86,815.
“Most people who get COVID-19 have mild or moderate symptoms like coughing, a fever, and shortness of breath. But some who catch the new coronavirus get severe pneumonia in both lungs. COVID-19 pneumonia is a serious illness that can be deadly.”
https://www.webmd.com/lung/covid-and-pneumonia#1
Two people I know of had severe illnesses. One was in hospices with leukemia, when she passed they called it coronavirus
I wonder if they will go back and review flu deaths. Oh wait...flu deaths are not estimated until the next year.
Its ALL estimates.
Thats the point the average person doesnt understand.
The ONLY accurate method is the Death Impact Statistics that wont even start being available until 18 months to 2 years from now.
People need to stop being so obsessed with this crap.
Well, no. Thats not how it works.
But you all just want to get angry. If you want something to get real angry aboutyour local community hospital will probably be bankrupt by July.
