Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had a message on Thursday for other governors who have implemented really draconian, arbitrary restrictions during the coronavirus outbreak, saying, You don't have unlimited authority and people do have rights.
DeSantis made the comments on Fox & Friends in response to a question from host Ainsley Earhardt, who asked if he thinks that some of these governors that are just doing a one-size-fits-all for the entire state are being too strict and going too far.
I don't think any governor has the authority to restrict anyone unless theres a direct relationship to combating this virus, DeSantis said in response, cautioning governors against acting like a "dictator."

That’s comes as news to Frau Whitler and Herr Wolf.
Hey, Gretchen, the Governor of Florida has a message for you.
“cautioning governors against acting like a “dictator.”
Well, that ship has sailed.
Proud to say I voted for governor DeSantis.
I think some of the governors look at polls and believe there is a broad consensus for severe lock-downs. I believe half of those simply support them, because they assume the lockdowns are in place because they are needed. The smart governors (in a political sense) think about what those same people are going to think in November, if they are still locked down, and Georgia and South Dakota etc. are doing fine.
After Florida started opening beaches he took some heat, and stated certain cities should be more concerned with cleaning up discussing subways instead of worrying about what Florida is doing. Burn!
I voted for him too, and will again. However he also got rolled by the experts and the media. Also seems to have succumbed to the hotel lobby by leaving them open while closing objectively safer vacation rentals. Also his orders gave cover for all the little himmlers to enforce every whim of the local Karens.
My mayor and the governor are in alignment.
Add Herr Baker from MA. He’s an arrogant sob.
I noticed how impressive Brian Kemp is on the Ledger Show. The press never interviews him, just that pig, Abrams, who lost.
Best Governor Florida ever had - so impressive this guy.
