Psychology, conflicting rules, misinformation and anxiety fueling bad behavior and violence, experts say
As a culture war rages across the nation over whether to wear protective masks, closer to home the battle is spilling over into store aisles and shopping center parking lots with alarming frequency and at times violent consequences.
Los Angeles police this week announced the arrest of two brothers who allegedly assaulted store employees and a security guard who attempted to escort them from a Target in Van Nuys for refusing to wear masks. ...

"I dont believe its worth a good sh!t as protection." And you are wrong. Even a simple double layer of cotton sheet stops 96% of salivary droplets in the 6 micron (respirable) range.

a very simple, very effective means of protecting yourself AND OTHER PEOPLE Except it does not. The mask wearing is protecting no one and may be causing harm.
That is the problem. It is doing something visible but ultimately worthless. That is what virtue signaling is.

It is also combined with sterile technique and sterile gloves/gown. The face is not touched once the mask is in place the masks are worn once the. discarded. A far cry from the snot rags people are wearing in the grocery stores

“The look he gave her would curdle milk so she didnt push it”
good response ... another might be to launch into a coughing fit and explain you can’t wear a mask because something happened a couple of days ago that makes it hard for you to breath ...

I was one of the first people in my area wearing a mask.
I wear mine so other people won’t be afraid to wear theirs.

if only the virus particles were > 6 microns. they are not. And once that simple cotton mask becomes saturated with exhaled moisture it is even more worthless

"Does anyone seriously believe that the masks theyre telling us to make with t-shirt fabric at home is going to do more than that?" The disclaimer is to satisfy lawyers, not because masks don't work...they do. A simple double layer of cotton sheet stops 96% of salivary microdrops in the 6 micron size range (which is the range that lodges in the lungs and kicks things off). If you're interested, I can provide a link to the experimentation proving the above.

And, pretty soon, even if you're wearing a mask, they'll try to shame you by telling you that your mask isn't as good as their mask.

"...the masks theyre telling us to make with t-shirt fabric at home... ____________________________________________________ Are 5% effective." Not true. A double layer of a cotton sheet stops 96% of particles in the 6 micron size range.
