Republican Mike Garcia defeated Democratic state Assemblywoman Christy Smith in the special election for California's 25th congressional district.

We took a 9 point loss(katie hill 2018) and turned it into a 13 point win(2020). That’s a 22 point swing.

Yeah. I say we were doing a little ballot harvesting of our own. Come 2020, we need to win back those 6 other California seats.

This is seat Shillery won by 7 points. But of course we have NO chance at winning back the House according to the ‘experts’.

"Why is mainstream media quiet about this?"

A couple of reasons:

1. He appears to be a conservative first generation Hispanic former combat military pilot who graduated from the Naval Academy who is strong on national security (including the borders), is pro business and defends the Constitution.

2. Because it's been 22 years since a Republican has flipped a Democratic-held House seat in California.
