Former Vice President Joe Biden and other top Obama officials received information in response to "unmasking" requests targeting retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn in the final weeks of the previous administration, according to a memo declassified by acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell.
The list, obtained by the Washington Examiner on Wednesday, shows Biden received information at least once in response to such an unmasking request on Jan. 12, 2017

The 39 receivers of Flynn’s name had to be authorized receivers of that info and had to have a reason to get Flynn’s name without going through the FISA process.

In general, because of US privacy law, if a US intelligence professional is reporting something he/she has seen or heard, they will avoid naming US persons (e.g., US citizens and lawful permanent resident aliens). Instead, they would refer to the individual as US PERSON. Only a small number of senior officials are allowed to “unmask” the report and be told the identity of the US PERSON. For example, a finished intelligence report might read:
FROM American Embassy Bogota to American Embassy Nassau:
1. On May 1, 1982 Pablo Escobar met with a US PERSON in Cartagena to discuss a possible arms shipment to The Bahamas. The US PERSON agreed to transport the shipment.

I don't think it means people asked for Flynn by name. And I don't think it includes any other requests that returned names other than Flynn's. This is a narrow report that just refers to those who received Flynn's name.
For those who don’t know yet, AG Barr is not big on any special counsel.
He’s against it and probably finds it ultimately distasteful. He believes in having the work done by people who should be trusted.
He has John Durham on the ObamaGate case and they just added Jeff Jensen, US Attorney out of Missouri who is also a former FBI agent.
“Screw that. No need to open up a new investigation. Let Durham handle it.”
John Durham was already handling this. Some think the DNI Grenell getting in on it might disturb the investigation but IMHO, it’s fine to let out the truth.
The investigation into all this is continuing and the unmasking is one component.
The Obamunists must be in a tizzy.
It seems like an awful lot of widespread activity for one target. Is it possible that some of these recipients were making requests for unmasking info on others and Flynn was mentioned in passing?
