Former Vice President Joe Biden and other top Obama officials received information in response to "unmasking" requests targeting retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn in the final weeks of the previous administration, according to a memo declassified by acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell.
The list, obtained by the Washington Examiner on Wednesday, shows Biden received information at least once in response to such an unmasking request on Jan. 12, 2017

1 other theory I read was that Flynn had been under surveillance well in advance of the election, for whatever reason I have no clue.
Then everyone HE cam into contact with on Trumps Team would also be unmasked.
If that has merit then we all I would need to understand what originally placed Flynn under surveillance. My bet would be Obama did it after Flynn showe3d him up and conflicted with him as a General.
Sounds like something nice Obama would do, doesn’t it?
Unmasking means revealing.
I think the plot of "Murder on the Orient Express" resolves around EVERY suspect actually sticking the knife in the dead guy. No way to prove who actually killed him. Seems like the same concept.

Did Biden make a request for unmaking? Or, did he just receive the info from the person who made the request?

There was a thread yesterday saying Obama was surveilling Flynn for years and then surveilling people who contacted Flynn. I believe this is not OK. Then Kislyak came along and contacted Flynn. So they surveilled the Russian guy (makes sense). When things got hot, they need to defend some of this surveilling, and the excuse became, "Well, this Russian guy contacted Flynn and we thought that was odd". But the truth is the opposite. The Russian guy was in the middle, not at the beginning. And I'm not sure Flynn ws "unmasked" because he was the focus of the investigation for years. The people he spoke to got unmasked.
Maybe it should be but it's not.
There are thousands of requests each year and the Trump administration is holding its own.
I'd bet my left nut that "they all went to the NSA" on numerous occasions during O-bitch-boy's term.
In fact, THAT is what they may trying to hide.
