Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, vowed to pursue multiple new criminal referrals amid the ongoing fallout of bombshell revelations in the Justice Department's handling of the Russia probe.

Referring to former special counsel Robert Mueller, Nunes said: "We're looking at doing criminal referrals on the Mueller team, the Mueller dossier team, the Mueller witch hunt, whatever you want to call it. That's where we are now in our investigation." Nunes made his remarks in a special new episode of Fox Nation's "Witch Hunt," hosted by Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett.

Nunes has been right about this from the beginning. Let us not forget, he was pretty much a one man band when Trump came into office. The democrats sidelined him and got him recused as chairman and the GOP did nothing but grumbled that I remembered (thanks to Paul Ryan and Gowdy).

If we ever learn half of this scandal it is my opinion that Nunes deserves a Presidential Medal of Freedom for his efforts.

A “criminal referral” and five bucks gets you a good coffee drink.

I think Nunes still thinks that there is “justice” in this country. Too bad. It died many, many years ago.

All that is left is a legal system that can be manipulated. And it certainly is.

Yeah, sure.

Same old crap.

Yap, yap, yap...a chihuahua barking at a shadow.

I'm pretty much fed up with the crap.

At least Trey Gowdy is gone.

Refer all you want, it’s up to the DOJ to prosecute and so far they have shown no inclination to do so.

Nunes is full of sh!t.

He let those Intelligence Committee witnesses lie their asses off in the media for all of 2017 and 2018 -- and didn't do a damn thing about it. He didn't even get on TV once and tell the audience that the people testifying behind closed doors were saying things that directly contradicted the lies they were spewing on the air.

He's also the guy who runs around on the Sunday talk shows telling ominous stories about FISA abuses ... and then goes to Washington on Monday and votes to re-authorize the FISA surveillance.

I am so done with these bullsh!t artists.

I am frustrated also and generally agree with your frustration. However, it is undeniable that Nunes stirred the pot on this thing early and often.

If you look at the final timeline for however much of this we find out (yes, the GOPe will hide everything too) in the early stages every other entry will be some action by Nunes. Judicial Watch also did a lot.

While I agree and have expressed my anger that every republicrat should have been calling Schiff a liar from day 1, to include Nunes, what I wrote above remains true.

Paul Ryan screwed us all more than anyone else. They did ask for subpoenas and Ryan and Gowdy blocked them. Repeatedly. Matt Gaetz was correct about this now. The house rules also say you cannot discuss what was said in a classified hearing. Our morons apparently play by the rules and watch Schiff and others selectively leak everything they want and say whatever they want absent corroboration. Only the GOP cares about the “rules and decorum.”

Rush made this point profoundly this morning. Not just Nunes but none of the Republicans that were privy to that info and they could have revealed the info on the floor and suffered zero repercussions.

I thought that revealing that information was against the law.

Nope, Barr said it belonged to them and they could release it if they wanted to, so I guess they wanted to since he wouldn't.
